If you are with her 24/7 there are several things you can try but the key is consistency. Dr. Phil and everyone else who wrote a book on how to be a parent can never be in your shoes. The bible says if you love your child you will discipline your child and sometimes doing this hurts us more than them, A good old fashion spank on the behind may work(not abuse) but just to let her know who is the boss. Good luck and pray to God for strength and patience....View Thread

He has always shown signs of constipation, however, his pediatrician doesn't feel it's an issue.
He has a poor diet (partly because he won't eat alot, and partly because he's fed more junk and nothing healthy).
According the the dr. his bowel movements are so hard, it's painful so he holds in it. When he does go, he will hide in a corner until he's finished, sometimes he cries.
He refuses to drink prune juice, eat corn or any other food that will help soften it.
His parents have had him on stool softeners for some time and recently stopped because they quit working.
Any suggestions on how to help this little guy??View Thread

trouble with my daughter biting at daycare. I thought she had stopped,
but apparantly she hasnt and the daycare has not informed me. Today
the director told me that she bit another kid and this time it was on the
cheek and left a huge welp. Of course the mom was really mad.
So my question is, how do I get her to stop?? They said its not the same kid all the time, and its usually when the teacher is changing diapers. Please any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!!View Thread
Here is WebMd's article on the basics of anemia: http://www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/understanding-anemia-basics
Did your doctor do a blood test on your daughter? It's usually a small prick and they test the blood to check the levels of iron in her. Glancing at a person is not a reliable way to diagnosis someone with anemia. I would ask to see her chart to see the iron levels. Good luck!View Thread
In order to stop the behavior in your son, you'll have to help control the behavior with your nephew. Sit down with your brother and share your concerns with him. He needs to help his son manage the disruptive and aggressive behavior. Just because your nephew has ADD/ADHD doesn't excuse him for aggressiveness. Good luck!View Thread
Sounds like your doing a great job! Hope this helped you even just a little bit!View Thread
