My DS's was in January, so it was much colder, but I did chili and a baked potato bar. I had nacho cheese sauce, steamed broccoli, shredded cheddar, sour cream, salsa, butter, chives, jalapenos, and bacon bits and everyone could serve up themselves. For the nacho cheese and broccoli I put it in my roaster buffet so they would stay hot.View Thread
Wow, I am so sorry. That is so sweet of you to offer to donate part of your liver, what a special gift that would connect is such a deep and meaningful way for life. I will say prayers for your family.View Thread
You know I was just thinking yesterday that we need some sort of post for good things like we have "Vent" posts for bad things. Maybe like a "Kuddos" or something. I'm not saying to take away vents, but to think of positive things too.View Thread
Thanks for sharing that link, that is hilarious!!! I will have to show DH tonight!
DS is starting to teeth his 2 year molars and was wide awake until midnight on Monday night so I finally turned on Nick Jr. after trying everything to get him back to sleep. There was the worst show on, it was so creepy, it was called Oobi and the whole thing was characters who were peoples hands with google eyes attached to their knuckles. I think they reserve the really bad shows for the over night crowd. I also dislike the Upside Down Show which is definitely an indicator for bed time if DS is still up.View Thread
It takes a while, but Yo Gabba Gabba grows on you. They do teach good moral lessons and it's all about dancing, so if your kid is going to watch any TV they encourage dancing and moving and DS loves to boogy to their music. They also encourage eating healthy which is good.View Thread
