More legislation means more cost and more waste for everyone. Meaning people have to work harder to keep their heads above water and have less time to learn about healthy eating and get outside and exercise. Everyone is responsible for themselves, no need to add to the burden. I stopped buying sugar and sugary food anyway! Without legislation, but because it wasn't good for me. Same with alcohol. My house is now smoke free and alcohol free as well, and that only happened after the stress levels of having to work too hard went down and we started caring whether we wanted to live or die. Not because of taxes.
