What's Happening Now

Last year since we were in such a horrible environment it was a huge sense of relief and excitement for summer together.
This year I am like it was great and honestly I am sad to see it end. Also an adjustment as Mommy is working this summer and they are going to summer school. It is a different feeling. I am feeling all over the place with emotions. The boys too as summer vacation means something different this year. They are growing so fast. But I am so proud of them for all they accomplished this year! They really have done great and we had a nice year.View Thread
Both girls are on Zyrtec. Emily takes the full adult pill, Elizabeth takes the children's liquid. I haven't noticed any side effects. It did, however, take a long time for it to totally kick in. It took about a month to really see an improvement.
I hope the Allegra helps!View Thread
2. Are you excited for Summer break? somewhat, my kids will be going to day camp instead of their daycare center
3. What are you looking forward to the most about Summer? vacation, relaxing by the fire, swimming at the pool & no schedules other than work & getting them to the Y in the morning so they can go to camp
4. What are you looking forward to the least? I really don't like change. We have been going to their current daycare since before they were 3 . Now we are changing it up for the summer. They are really excited & we get to save some money in the long run. I think they will be returning to the daycare in the fall for after school care though.View Thread
Lily has a library card, we spent three days trying to find that thing and it turned up in one of her pink play purses. Cause that's where you keep your plastic.View Thread

Our preschool doesn't do much either except have a class sing with snacks and drinks on the last day. I'm really not sure why the whole town thinks the first graduation should be at the end of 8th grade so we have always hosted a big party after the Pre-K sing for each of our kid's classes.
The big kids are already begging to play hookey on June 7th so they can be here for Coco's big "end of preschool" bash. LOL!View Thread
I thought having girls, I would get to avoid all the bug/animal type stuff. Nope. There was a half-dead worm on the driveway and Elizabeth goes right over to it to pick it up and examine it. Look Mommy! Uh, no thanks. Although, on the positive side, she has become our official bug killer when DH isn't home.
Baby bunnies I'd be happy to see. Dead worms, not so much...View Thread
There is a luncheon at school this week for the teachers.View Thread
Luckily, one of my co-workers has kids around the same age as mine so we talk about kid stuff a lot.View Thread

Honestly I have only been camping one time (sleeping bags outside.. rode horses, natural spring. It was pretty cool except for the wolves howling in the night . Yes real live wolves.
So I guess again I will be out of my comfort zone with the camping thing.
