So, this year after long consideration we decided to artificially inseminate. I went to my OB/GYN last year and was put on various different hormones, etc. to help with my cycle irregularities, none of which worked.
Last June, I decided to try an all natural alternative (Chasteberry/Vitex), which needless to say I was skeptical of. Well, I actually had 11 months of regularity which was amazing (considering I've never had a regular cycle my whole life).
This February, we bit the bullet and started inseminating. Of course, I didn't fall pregnant and we tried again in March. Again, no luck. We finally worked out our timing was off.
We went to try again in April, however, I had my LH surge a week earlier than we expected and had to cancel the insemination. After being 2 weeks late for my period, I decided to take a pregnancy test. I tested negative.
I am having some light spotting that started yesterday, but no cramps or any normal signs of a period.
I have a dr's appointment next week but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this too. Is this normal with PCOS? Can you surge without ovulating? Can you have a period without ovulating?
Also, has anyone tried Metformin? What were the results, if so?
Thanks for reading!View Thread
I've been diagnostic with polycystic ovary too and I am only 22....actually First time Ive found out i have that its been when I was like 17 years old....I am not sure why i have that and at some point it was all gone but now ive been to do a check up as me and my hubby decided for a baby too and they are giving me some meds to take. I recently lost my cat too just like you she ment everything to me and for few weeks ive been cryng and cryng after her like she was my only baby.... Its sooo hard....everytime i used to see her pictures it was like someone was putting presure on my chest and couldnt breath....so now i can see that i am not the only one who loves animals soooo much....Ive been reading online abt if you can get pregnant being diagnostic with this type of thing and lots of people said yes....i think most of womens have this in their life so its not a limit i like to think. At the moment we dont have even a month since we are tryng but I ll keep you in touch...Another thing is, i dont want to upset you or say something stupid or anything, but have prepared this ovulation calendar u know-it might be that because of this syndrome our periouds arent coming regulary but just keep tryng it and enjoy next to ure hubby xx keep in mind that a child in a house is a hand send from God....sorry abt my english writing is not perfect....

Ovaboost contains a trio of ingredients (myo-inositol, folic acid and melatonin) that has been shown to improve egg quality.

Please consult your doctor and ask about OvaBoost .The ingredients in OvaBoost will begin to work immediately to improve egg quality and ovarian function. And, while results may vary from one woman to the next, we expect to see improvements in egg quality, ovarian function, and cycle regularity within 3 months.

1.) why metphormine if I have no prediabetes or high blood pressure? My insulin level is only 0 .1 over the normal range. So apperently that makes me pre insulin resistant?
2.) methphormin is killing my stomach! I started at 500mg and was sick very sick but a month later it got better. I just started twice a day or 1000mg and its sick again!! nausea stomach pain and diarrhea
will it ever get better? I do take it with a full meal and lactose free milk. 3.) I am taking a multi vitamin...b-complex and, hair skin and nails vitamins. I don't believe anything is effecting the meds and I make sure to take my vitamins two or more hours after my met.
4.) I'm on my third month of met and no weight loss...not a lb and before it I was losing some.I eat healthy quite healthy so I'm confused? any one else lose no weight on it?
Ik this is a lot of stuff but I'm just worried and very alone with this new problem. I am usually a very confident and positive girl but all this stuff is worring me.....any help would be great!View Thread
But Glucorein... Oh my goodness, it has changed my life. My menses are now regular, my hirsutism is mild, my hair loss is GONE, and my acne has disappeared. Plus, my blood levels dropped an alarming twenty points and I lost fifty pounds! Naturally!
This has done way more than Metformin, Spiro, Yaz, or any other birth pill has ever done. Please. I'm begging you, try it. It's natural. And you can put it in your food and drinks.
I started seeing results in about one or two months. Since then, I really can't even consider myself a cyster. I sure am not a diabetic anymore.
Please, try this. My only issue is that it can only be found online and it's a bit pricey - $67.50 for thirty packs. But I'm willing to stab my wallet if I can keep my health in check.
I now have five kids. Three boys, one girl, and pregnant with another girl! They're beautiful, and I'm sure you can have four as well - even more! I'm currently pregnant with my fifth child.. And she seems healthy. I take a minimum of this during pregnancy, since I don't want to harm my child. About three packs each week.
There's hope for everything. Go to http://www.nvnutritionals.com/glucorein/ For more. It's godsent.View Thread

For some of you women that want to try to conceive you can also try chasteberry or vitex. There are a lot of herbs that help. Maybe go to a Chinese store and ask them what they recommend. Good luck to all n know that you are NOT alone. There are many of us out there. Make sure you do your research and I pray the best for you all.View Thread
