I totally agree with you that God is a miracle working God .
He will work in our favor.
Keep on keeping on and holding on to our very present help in the times of trouble.
And for some of us these are troubling times.
Stay blessed we'll talk soon,

I am on my second cycle of IUI with using just clomid 50MCG. I am currently 9 days past IUI and although I am in the TWW I have taken HPT's a few times. As the days pass I notice, or I want to notice the fading of the negative line getting lighter and lighter. I have just started having sore breasts and some cramping here and there. Should I give up hope for a BFP? or is there still hope?? I hate the TWW ugh....View Thread

I also had a d&c last year after I lost my twins at 23 wks. It was horrible. But we are trying again and we dont know what will happen. I too was afraid that after having that done, would I be able to conceive again? We just started trying in Feb. My last period was Feb 4th & I went off the pill shortly after that. Nothing so far..............
I can understand your feelings because I am in the same boat with you! Good luck!

Secondly, the best time to get preggers is at ovulation. Have you ever used opk (ovulation predictor kits) to see when you actually ovulate? Typically in a 28 day cycle you would O around cd 14 but everyone is different. The Kits can help you figure out when you O, and in turn when you have the best chance of getting preggers. Sperm last up to 72 hours inside a woman so if you start bedding every other day once your AF or aunt flo(period) ends, you get optimal chances. Test with OPK and once you get a positive (some people have to test twice a day to catch the surge around the time they think it may happen) you will O within 24 to 36 hours. It is best to bed with in those 24-36 hours but if you bed early by a day and for some reason are not able to bed right after, it is still possible to get preggers.
Thirdly, have you talked to your dr? How long have you been trying? Have they done any testing to make sure your hormones are changing properly through your cycle? It takes time for a normal woman to get preggers (dont' remember the actual percent chance each month) and if there is a issue with either the woman or man that percentage can go down. But many issues can be fixed if they are detected.
Best thing I would suggest is to get some OPK kits (noted above is a web site or you can go to the store by the preg test/condoms and get a kit (about $20 for 20 answer strips and more expensive for the digital/easier to read tests). Test and see how your cycle runs. If you are consistant two months in a row, you can assume each month is the same and just keep track. My dr says to bd (bed) every other day to optimize potency of the male sperm (and since it lasts a few days it covers the day off from bedding). If you are still not getting preggers talk to your dr to see if they can test your hormones or test to see if your tubes are blocked. Even get a sperm analysis on your man to make sure his counts are good.
Baby dust to you and please keep us posted!!View Thread

Thank you so much for your advice!View Thread
This can also be something you can discuss with your doctor who can suggest someone for the both of you to talk to about all the concerns you are having. Something that I do on a weekly basis to combat the stress is getting a 45 minute massage. It helps me relax and focus. If you need someone to talk to. The rest of the ladies and I are here to lend an ear or two.
Hope it gets better...View Thread

Then I realized the nurse never called me back with what she wanted me to do now. So I called this morning at 1030 and here it is now almost 1PM and still no call. So now I am starting to get mad, I am hoping that anger fulls my motivation to finish this homework. It would be a nice anni. present. But if Jan would have happened DH bday present, in Feb March 6 is my Grandmas bday, present for her....all dashed. So I think I am going to stop with the predictions and just hope that next cycle will be the first attempt.
I hope 3rd times the charm for you. For all that I wish for myself, I will send all of it to you. KUP on your progressView Thread
I have endo as well and been TTC for over 5 years now. (I have an extreme case, so don't get disheartened by the timeframe) My #1 suggestion is Prenatal Vitamins!!! I personally think that they help suggest to your body, "Hey, I'm preparing for a baby here, help me out". Chart and keep track of when your periods are, when you baby-dance (BD), when you think you may be having ovulation pains. Find positions that work for you and don't hurt you as much (can be hard with endo, hopefully you don't have too much endo pain) because, let's be honest, the less pain you're in, the more likely you are to BD more often. Unless your hubby has super-sperm, BD every other day when you can (especially before and during ovulation), that way you keep his body producing swimmers at a good rate, and make sure that the swimmer's quality doesn't get depleated. Another more homeopathic-ish thing that I've heard of, that I think helped us get pregnant (long story), orange juice!!! Helps sperm count. If you started TTC in October, I'd say give it until April... If you haven't gotten pregnant by then, talk with you ObGyn about your options... At that point they may put you on fertility drugs. Don't lose hope! That is the most important of all of this!!! Keep a good attitude (easier said than done at time, I know...) and keep your chin up. Let me know if I can help you any more, or if you need a listening ear

Wishing you baby dust and pain-free moments!View Thread
