My question is, since I tend to get paranoid about pregnancy (I'm still in college), do you think this is implantation bleeding? Or do you think it's something else, like a recurrence of cysts or some kind of infection? Is this something people have experience with while on Tri-Sprintec?
Really, I just need someone to set my mind at ease.
Thanks!View Thread
From my experience in talking with this doctor I am not confident in her, she forgot my symptoms, problems, did not fully listen to me when I explained what was wrong. I don't want to see another doctor as the prometrium was expensive and so were the doctors visits so I am hoping to see if I can get some advice or a second opinion on what this doctor has told me. I generally have a very regular cycle, although it is heavier now that I am on the IUD (the paragaurd, hormone free — got it in August of this year) and I am uncomfortable taking something that seems to be messing with my body. I am 23 years old. Thank you for your time and help with this matter.View Thread
Today, I have been on my period for 23 days, with a 2-day break last weekend. Again, still really light, but stopping around the evening that I'll think it's okay to take off my pad and I'll wake up with underwear full of blood. This last week, its been going away during the day so I don't need to wear a pad and "comes back" at night while I'm sleeping or when I wake up early in the morning. It will feel like I've gotten wet from arousal, I can even feel it coming out of me, but it turns out its blood. And then it goes away for the rest of the day. Its just enough that comes out to wear one of those teeny tiny pantyliners, or make my underwear "soggy" if I think it's safe not to wear one, and it's always visible on the toilet paper when I go to the bathroom.
Has anyone ever experienced this before or know what the heck could going on? All the information on the internet is telling me I'm having miscarriage. I am not pregnant nor have I been pregnant, this is not a miscarriage. I have never been on any on birth control.
It's bad enough having a period, I don't need to last a month long.View Thread
i started taking my BC agian on the 11th ( i havent been on BC since aug of 09) i started my period on the 13th this month an now its the 24th...until yesterday i was still taking my BC even though i was on my period. im still bleeding an have no sighns of stopping. i was sick with the flu on the 10th through the 14th. the medications i was on while i was sick was:
Tamiflu 75mg twice a day
cant member the second one but i know it was 250mg once a day
i am also on an anti depressent called Sertraline (generic for Zoloft) 50mg
my BC has never caused me any problems with my period and either has my anti-depressent. i got blood drawn on tuesday (the 23rd) an will be called with the results tomorrow. my doctor thinks it could be my hormones causing the bleeding. I have also quit taking my BC to try an regulate my period an will restart taking my BC next month on the sunday after my period. the doctor knows this
if its not my hormones an if its not the medications then what else could it be??
its been 13 days an im still bleeding normally like a regular period an there is 0 signs of stopping anytime soon...this is really bothersome an i really want to know what is or could be wrong...please help!
i suggested that maybe i could stop taking my BC an he said that i could try it. he never said that it was a bad idea. so now ive been off my BC for a few days now. an im still on my period. i know im not preggers. i just want to stop already. ill be getting a call today from my doc and ill post what he said after the call
i forgot to say that i have been severly fatigued and exhasuted, if im not at work im at home sleeping all the time! i told my doctor this too an he said maybe its your medication...blah well im not on medication cept for my anti-depressent now an guess what im still exhausted an stuff grr.
its going on 1PM now an my doctor always calls with my results by now...im scared...
