We are getting closer to warm weather and times we think about making more trips and vacations. Does anyone have suggestions for what they might bring along on a car trip to snack on but won't get all over the car?? It would have to be easy to store and of course not too distracting for anyone. I like to divide natural(not salted) almonds into smaller bags like the snack baggies. This is good for small fruits ect. Rasins are good too.
Good morning everyone--Is there any place on here that gives directions on posting a photo? I'm not saying that I'll understand it since I'm definitely computer challenged but I thought I'd give it a try.
Today I tried a new recipe. We like chinese so when I saw some recipes for Beef Broccoli I found one that sounded easy enough but good. It came out very good! We had it over rice. My daughter likes it too. Thats one for the book I keep them in.
My daughter found 1/2 box of the mint gs cookies! We saved them this long! lol Some days it's hard to find time to exercise. I was so tired today from not sleeping well. And I got up early to get routine bloodwork done before work. But, I try to stand and walk around table as I help the individuals at work.

Man, I had a tangle at work today. At the school I had the guy who will fight with anyone and tell you so! He got worked up while doing his tasks and tried to bite my hand off! I only got a bruise from my fist being in his mouth, but then he hauled off and hit his fist into my chest! Ohhhhh, that knocked the wind out of me! My whole side hurt all day.
We had a nice sunny day today. I can put my plants back outside. Maybe I won't have to bring them back in later! Well, the girl scout cookies came and went right away! I resisted getting anymore today when I saw them when I went shopping. I really like the somoa's which is why I need to stay away from them! lol
After all this time i finally figured out how to put a picture on the board. This is an arms length picture we took when we went walking at a nature refuge near our home on Valentine's Day. The handsome guy with me is Larry. we are standing on a deck overlooking a frozen snow covered backwater of the Illinois River.
I hope everybodies weather is getting better. We're having warmer temps, but not warm enough to melt the ice in our backyard. Between the ice and melted ice on top of it walking to feed the chickens it a real adventure and walking in the fields is becoming a muddy mess. I can't wait for all this water to go away..i miss my walking routes.
