Hope you're getting thru the summer.... I wonder if you can have the cookout inside and out? Sit outside some while food is cooking then eat inside. I came down with something early in week. Stuffy head, sore throat, headache. I finally went to Dr and he gave me antibiotics. At least I'm blowing it out now(sorry) I haven't had coffee in 3 days! I can't drink it when I have colds ect.-tastes funny. I'm having some today and enjoying it. I worked Mon, Tuesday and then stayed home. But, I also haven't been able to exercise-at least I didn't feel like eating too !! lol When I tried to do anything physical I ran out of breath. Yesterday I got up and re-potted some plants.
A few days ago I went to store for juice. When I came out I saw someone had bumped into my rear view mirror and knocked it off! My son is at junk yard right now finding another one to replace it.
Lois you're always having fun with those grandkids! My grandson was just here to mow my yard....I gave him a summer job!

It is very hot here in Florida. I try to do things I have to outside after dark! Last night I was re-potting some plants. I put my ti plant in a bigger pot and moved a saga palm to a better pot to give to a friend. I heard rumbling and thunder earlier. Think it went in other direction away from us. My green pepper is growing, I've had a few already. I found the wisteria my grandson mowed down a few weeks ago is growing again! Seems we get more tired now in the hot weather.

On my way to get stakes and wire holders for tall plants also. I have a beautiful ti plant now. My grandson mowed for me last weekend. He didn't notice my wisteria I planted a few weeks ago and I didn't have it marked. He mowed it down! I found stem and put in water, maybe it'll root. I also see the main root is intact in ground so been watering it so it won't dry out. I know it looks like some of the weeds that grow big around here! the wisteria was about 2 feet tall.

We had a great day weatherwise. Sunny with a breeze, not too hot. Some showers are forecast tomorrow.
Then my son called that he ran out of gas. I went and got some for him. After I got home he called and I had to go back......his car quit and wouldn't start again. He asked and I checked gas receipt and saw I had gotten diesel fuel! So, we had a tow truck come and take him home with his car. He wanted to do it himself....I asked if he wanted to take it to a mechanic. I told him he won't be calling me for gas again!!
My wisteria tree is growing nicely in the yard. Still need to get some flowers started!

I did send yours and Lois' address. I sent the email to you guys too so the address is on there too. We have a nice breeze coming thru. Was out in the yard a lot today. My grandson mowed and blowed the dirt and grass away from street. I need to get some grass seed to spread around out there!
Lois! Now you're complaining about the warm air! I know it's not warm....that's hot!! lol I see the wisteria I planted(from Mom's yard) is getting green buds of growth on it already. I need to get an arbor for it to grow on.
My daughter is putting a new grill together. It's a nice one with the extra grill on top to keep food warm. It has drawers and a cabinent for storage. Already have the steaks waiting!! Her boyfriend is coming later to join us.
The grass and dirt in the air is bothering my nose and throat. But, my son has cut half of the bathroom ceiliing out to replace it with dry wall. He cut the part that had the holes left from those critters we had up there last year. So I'll give it a new coat of paint once he's done.

Hope your doing good. I like to have something crunchy too so the rice cakes will do. The little ones seem more flavorful than the big ones. Too make sure we stay in touch here's my email-lavender_leo3@yahoo.com drop me a note!View Thread

We have a dreary looking day here today. The wind makes it feel chilly.....quite the opposite from yesterday. Good day to catch up on movies. lol
question-Does anyone have favorites you keep on hand for low calorie snacks. Carrot sticks and celery are getting tiresome! I'm keeping raisins and dates on hand for sweets. For crunchy I get the apple and banana chips. Still need to watch how much I eat tho.
have a good week, LindaView Thread
