Fall is here and I'm very happy with the cooler temperatures. Leaves are just starting to turn colors and some of them are very pretty. Not pretty when you have to rake them!
Hope you'll feel better soon!

Sounds like you're finding all sorts of things for your residents. Your "World of Nations" dinner sounded very nice. I'm sure you had a nice selection of food to choose from.
My two dogs like the NylaBones and they're almost indestructible. I can't use any stuffed toys with either of them, especially the whippet. He can destuff one in about 5 minutes!
Have a good week!

Our oldest son from Florida is arriving today with his other half and her 2 boys so we'll have a fun weekend. We have our local Firemen's Fair in the evenings with a huge parade tonight at 7 o'clock. Not sure just what else we'll be doing but will plan on indoor activities for tomorrow since we're supposed to get a bit of hurricane Earl.
Hope everyone has a good Labor Day weekend!

Linda, have a great time in Atlanta next week!

It's been very hot and humid here in NY and the air conditioning is running non-stop. I'm so glad we have it in these 90 degree temperatures.
Have a good weekend!

The movie was very good--I really enjoyed it! Saturday I promised him I'd take him to see "Despicable Me" in 3D. Prices for the 3D movies are out of sight though! Even with my senior discount the "Toy Story 3" ticket was $12 and also $12 for Jacob. Popcorn and a drink for him then adds almost $10 more so it's not a cheap afternoon. He's having fun which is the main thing!
Have a good week!

Our 4th was very nice. We still have our grandson with us and we went to a friend's for a barbecue. Great food, especially the dessert--a S'Mores ice cream cake--very good!
We're in a heat wave this week so this afternoon we'll go see "Karate Kid" and keep cool in the theater.
Have a good week everyone!

I'm looking forward to getting your weather. It's been so hot and humid here I don't feel like doing anything. My grandson can't understand that I say it's too hot to go to the beach!
Sounds like you got some good buys on your plants. I need to get some and will as soon as this weather cools down a bit. I'd love to find azalea bushes for $1.79!
Have a good week.

I'm hoping we'll get some cooler weather soon. They're predicting high 70's and low 80's later this week so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. It's been high 80's and low 90's with high humidity the last week or so.
We haven't had much rain at all. Most of the storms seem to go to the north of us so we're watering almost every day.
Hope everyone has a good week.
