We are still trying to get estimates - I think the plan is that they will move in once we get the basement finished. I'm still really leary. Just that nawing feeling if you know what I mean. But we'll see.
I just found Phyllis on facebook - I did something where you put in your email address and it somehow found friends based on the email addresses.
Pretty cool.
Have a great week.View Thread

It is really chilly here today. It has gone down into the 40's last night and I think it will be going down there tonigt.
Word games are really good for the mind. I need to play more of them. Pre computers I used to do a lot more with my mind - like read, etc.
We are discussing about moving our daughter and her family into our basement and having our son move into the townhouse that they live in now. I have such mixed feelings about it. I think it would be good for my grandson who is learning disabled and has seizures.. would allow him to basically be on one level and have a lot more spce to live in, but then there is the privacy issue. I have really been wrestling with this. Everyone is excited about making this happen except me. I guess we'll see how things go as the fall passes
I hope everyone has a great week.View Thread

Tomorrow I need to clean the house and then hopefully go to see my dad in the late afternoon.
I hope everyone has a great labor day weekend.

You may be on to something. My son in law says that Firefox is different than explorer. I think the techie types like Firefox alot.
I am good - finally went on vacation last week. We took my dad with us and he enjoyed himself. We did some work around the condo on Monday of the week and were then able to enjoy the beach the rest of the time.
I'm glad your garden did well. I love home grown tomatoes. We went up to Fred's cousins house a couple of weeks ago. He had a huge garden and generously shared tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and zuchini with us. Yum Yum.
Take care everyone

I accidentally pushed for Spanish one time in Walmart. I had a time trying to manouver through that one. I learned a little Spanish in high school - but that has been quite a while ago.
I hope you have good luck in selling the house. Things around here are pretty slow, although I think they might be picking up a bit. That has to be hard going through things ..especially finding cookies. I know how hard it was was when my mom died. I still have a bunch of her old silver platted sets and cups and saucers. They are all packed up in my basement. And that was 15 years also. I really need to do something with them.
I just got a new laptop, so I'm trying to get all my stuff working again. Going to take a while.
The heat finally broke a bit yesterday and today. it had been up around 100 the earlier part of the week.View Thread
