Here is something I have realised about my habit of picking the dry skin around my nails: When I was in a treatment center for addiction, I stopped that completely. I was in a stress free environment I figured, (no worry about my cluttered house, what to fix for dinner, etc.) When I was young I was a nail bitter, then changed to picking the skin around them - I think to save the looks of my nails. Now as an adult I've discovered I have been an ADD/ADHD person all along. Anyway, folicin helps me. I see the nail picking as a sign of my stress level: more stress the worse it is. Good thing this discussion is mostly young people. I've done many self-sabotaging things in the past. Don't wait till your older to figure it out View Thread
