Hi My name is Mary and I'm a stay at home mom of three kids! My hubby and I are currently going thru the process of foster to adopt program thru the state of PA! We are very excited & nervous! I would like to hear some stories from others' experiences-good and bad! We want to be totally prepared for any situation since we are trying for a child around the age of 5-7 and would likely suffered from abuse/neglect! Any other info on support group web sites would be appreciated! thanks, MaryView Thread
hi! I'm Mary! We r tryin to fost/adopt in PA! We have done our application, FBI/fingerprinting, child abuse clearances and criminal background checks! We are having physicals done soon and have to go to CPR classes! I'm currently going to family prep classes and my hubby is going next month, since we already have children we have to do them seperately. We have no babysitter since I am the stay at home momma! We just feel we have room in our hearts for more children and feel like we could give at least one more child a good home full of love! Sorry I seem to be rambling on! Thanks for listening & good luck to you also!View Thread
