Same problem here for years...in addition to severe cold sores and soy allergy. Take Lysine everyday (500mg). When you have a break out, take extra Lysine - I take 2 caplets 3x day to help the swelling dissipate. You have a deficiency of Lysine and certain foods/allergies trigger it. Some examples...honey roasted peanuts, Snickers, any candy or foods with soy lecithin, any foods with MSG. It's usually when your body has too much of one amino acid ( I forget which one), and too little of Lysine. Drink milk also.View Thread
