Yeah, my roommate has asthma like this. Even taking medication and using an inhaler she has to go to the ER a couple times a year - but when she does they just put her on an Albuterol nebulizer. Now she has one at home. Definitely she should get one of those!View Thread
I would think that if had anything do do with the pool, the symptoms would have gone away withing a few days. Skin allergies don't stick around for 4 months unless you keep getting re-exposed.
Have you only been tested for pet dander and latex? There are tons of other things they can test for.
Is there any possibility that it's stress? I have known people to break out in really severe hives from stress. They are so severe that you wouldn't think they could be psychosomatic, but they were.View Thread
I have a sever allergy to something that is in the air year round but worst in February-March. My allergist tested me for, he said, everything he could think off. He did skin and blood tests for all the food and respiratory allergies they had tests for at the time. All they found was that I had elevated levels of something-or-other that showed I HAVE an allergy, but could not narrow it down. Just today I learned that snow mold is an actual specific mold - I thought it just meant all the molds that are released when the snow melts, and I tested negative for molds. But I wonder if possibly snow mold isn't covered by the tests. Or maybe it wasn't 10 years ago but is now? Anyway, is this something I can be tested for?View Thread
