While I was still recovering from the attack that I had before I read your post I gave it a try. IT SUPER WORKED!! Thank you so much! I actually also plugged my nose with swimmers plugs, but that was only for the residual irritation I had from the previous attack.
So once its totally gone I'll stick to the albuerol only. Finally, some answer to this nuisance.
I hope other ppl read your post and may be it can help some.. Looks like there are many of us out there View Thread
Thank you sooo much for posting this. I will try this albuterol trick. I too have been struggling with this monster annoying Rhinitis that I was so tempted to cutoff my nose (just kidding). It started with Chest burns when I was younger, then uncontrollable coughs when playing tennis. Then that went away.. ew years later it would start after jogging would be uncontrolled sneezing and a runny nose for the day (which I used to think: was a bad luck cold). Took me a while to realize, given my thick head ..long story short I thought it was if I jog outdoors, so I joined a gym, it became indoors too and finally I see a correlation between how intense I work out how rapid my heart beat goes and how miserable it gets later).. I took prophylactic antihistamines, daays before, prophylactic nasal steroids.no result, nasal decongestants, ephedrine, psudoephedrine, cromolyn.. Nothing that works when I have a real cold works with this thing.. and worse after that much nose blowing I get terrible nose bleeds.. I tried everything.. so yest. tried albuterol one puff after my latest workout (thinking desperately that this won't cut it cause its the nasal passages that burn few min. before the attack comes on. though my chest felt fine). So I guess I 'll try the 2 puffs before the workout and immediately after.. Is that all you do? .. If that doesn't cut it I guess I'll have to chose going about life with a huge behind, flabby and miserable.. or cut this friggin'nose that is still dripping a day later and probably will for another 2-3 days off (just kidding ..again)..View Thread
