Annie2506 and cleanfreak79,
I had all of the exact same issues and diagnoses of urticaria and angioedema. The Zyrtec and Zantac stopped working, so I tried the water therapy for chronic dehydration and IT WORKED. I started out the first month trying to drink about 72 oz. of water every day, (with a little pinch of sea salt in the glass) and My hives slowly disappeared for good and now I try to drink a more normal amount, but the hives are still gone! The angioedema is still a very minor problem but it is also slowly disappearing. This blog is where I found out about the water therapy, and I thank God for that! Please write back on the blog and keep us posted about your progress. View Thread
I just wanted to thank you for your post. I have wondered about whether or not a vitamin D3 deficiency could be part of the problem of hives. I am now starting to take extra D3 that I already had on hand because I suspected I was low in D before. I'll keep you posted on how it works for me.
Thanks again for bringing this to all of our attention.
I am wondering how water therapy has worked for you? It works well for me when I am able to stick with it, but it remains to be seen yet whether or not it will ever cure me of hives. I am also starting to eat a lot healthier and am taking some recommended supplements to see if that helps with the hives and angioedema in my hands, face, and feet. I take Dr. Furhman's "Immunotect" and a vitamin D3 supplement as well as a daily probiotic and fish oil. I am determined to cure my hives! I know that my immune system was all out of sorts from stress and too much drinking earlier this year. That is when my troubles began. The stress was terrible starting in March and all my symptoms began in May. The Dr. put me on 4 Zyrtec, 4 Zantac per day, but that stopped working and now I take 1 Zyrtec , 1 Zantac every 2 or 3 days and it works better.
Please let us know your story when you get a chance.
Thanks, JaneView Thread
Sinedar, please go back in this blog to the first post by "Taiwanguy". He explains the water drinking therapy for hives. It really makes sense to me but even if it doesn't sound good to you, there are countless people who have been helped by doing it and are now free of hives! I wrote that it wasnt helping after 4days, but it's been a week now, and my hives are almost gone!!! I am so very thrilled. Just try it. It's free! Let me know if you do.
Hi. I appreciate your post and all the info you've given about how the water therapy has been successful for you. When you say a pinch of salt, can you be more specific? How much salt should I put in 12 oz. of water? Can I use table salt? Iodized? It really makes the water taste yucky!
I am getting really discouraged, too, because I've been drinking the water for 4 days now and my hives are worse than ever! Starting to get down about it. Had facial (lip) swelling for the last two days. So awful. Did you see any results before 2 weeks?
Thanks and hope to hear back from ya.
