I'm 24 and I believe I've just discovered an allergy to onions. I'm not sure if it's all onions or just red onions, but the allergic reaction happened when I ate slices of a raw red onion in a burrito. It took about 3 hours to fully effect me, but the effect was intense; severe confussion and dizziness followed by a headaches. The only physical symptom was a couple hives on my neck. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm terrified to go near onions again. I also LOVE garlic, but I'm reading that I could also be allergic to it if I have an onion allergy. HELP! I've never been allergic to anything. I don't know where to start.View Thread
