My husband is not depressed, he only has stress and anxiety (job related), so I do not know why thy put him on an antidepressant to begin with. I am at my wits end as to how to discuss this with him(because it always ends in a fight). But this is my first child I will have, and I am 33 years old, so to me every aspect that could affect my potential unborn child is very serious to me. mrs.monroeView Thread
Is everything ok?View Thread
I want to use OPK's but I don't think DH is up for that cuz I think he feels it will happen when the time is right. But I would like to know if I am even ovulating? KWIM?View Thread
Just introducing myself here... I'm 26, married 4 months, living together almost a year, and together for 6 years. Now, we have talked about it and are now ready to start a family -- and here I am reading up and preparing as much as I can.
The plan, as per my doc, is to get off the BCP a couple of moths before, which is this month (just started this BCPs this past weekend), start taking prenatal vitamins right after this pack is done, and start the baby dance in November.
As patient as I can be, and I am, these couple of months have gone by slowly and these two to come seem so far away......
Thanks for reading

There have been different times in the last 2 yrs. I suspected she might have M/E health issues. Or something in her personality. Hell, I've even chalked it up to her being a quirky writer. Or just having a bad time and taking it out on the internet. I've tried not to read too much into what she writes to compensate for her.
I'm at the point I don't want to have to read anything she writes, anywhere, ever. I've never felt that way about a stranger before.
I can't stand that woman.
Thanks for letting me type that out here. Sorry.View Thread
By the same token, some people might not want to join because they wouldn't want "strangers" to have their email addy.
All this seems more complicated the more the details are considered. :)0View Thread
A) money is tight right now but once we get past this month it should be better,
I am not showing whatsoever yet lol so maternity clothes will not fit, but Old Navy has the cutest stuff.....C) don't know gender and I tend to not be able to find neutral clothes so much but they do have neutral themed gear, bedding, etc...I'm a very patient person but when I am preggo I get wacky and am like" Ok, I'm preggo hurry up 9 months and give me my baby"
LOL Ok i'm done

Do you find it too exclusionary, or stagnant?
Are there problems with trolls, snarky posters there like there are on the public boards? People who hide behind anon to avoid accountability?
In short, would you recommend it, or not?View Thread
How does one invite people to join the exchange?
If people want to join the exchange, how do they let you know?
If someone joins by invitation and later proves to be a problem, can they be blocked from the exchange?
Is the exchange listed by subject under the alphabetical listing of exchanges the way public exchanges are?
I'm answering you here for obvious reasons.

I have nothing else to add, just saying hi.

I really want to wait that long because we have suffered a loss before and I am still nervous since I haven't been to the Dr. yet (I go on Monday to see the nurse) So I don't really know if everything is going ok.View Thread
Also, what are the mechanics of starting a private exchange? Do people have to "apply" to be members and wait for administrator approval? How would such an exchange attract new members?View Thread
For me not to much has gone on. Just chilling with my DS and DH this weekend not up to to much. First weekend in a LONG time we got to finally just relaxe and enjoy it. For the past 3 weeks DH has had to work the weekends ontop of the weekdays. and 2 weeks before then we delt with family vacation drama.
Well now anyway I am back off the BCP again and now on my period. We will see if by the time my period is over if DH will change his mind again about me staying off and actually TTCing lol. I am just not really going to say anything to him unless he asks this time. Maybe by the time he does try to change his mind again it will be to late

He is in CT, his family is in MA (as are we) and they decided to get married in the Outer Banks of NC
Origionally, they planned to get married in CT, but did not want to spend $30,000 on a wedding, so instead, they are renting 3 houses on the beach for a week at the cost of $10,000 EACH for the week and then are doing a backyard ceremony on the sand. Only the wedding party and their immediate families are invited.
My problem with that is he has some very close friends that she does not like that she refused to invite- I told her she did not have to host them, but invite them and provide the name of some area hotels and that chances are they will not come but will be happy that they were atleast invited. She said no way
she asked me my opinion about whether or not she should have a wedding shower, her intention was to invite people who were not invited to the wedding (SORRRY TACKY!!!!) well I got my invite for that last week, and I shipped a gift.
DH was asked to be the best man and because of work, I cannot go.Dh flies in Tuesday, wedding is wed and he is flying out thur 6 am
The wedding is in 2 weeks and DH found out a WEEK ago what he was wearing, no tuxs, but a white ralph lauren button down shirts and khaki pants. DH is 6'5 and is muscular he cannot generally buy clothes off the rack and he is not fat so a big and tall store does not work, so I have to order his clothes online and I am not going to tell you about the HELL we went through trying to find these specefic pieces. I had to get him a 4XL shirt and get it tailored. We paid for our groomsmen's tuxes, his ralph lauren shirt ALONE was $97,
Dh has tried time and time again to talk to his friend about what was going on with the wedding and he gets short or no response, he was DH's best man and DH is upset that he has not been involved at all, he feels like he is not helping out at all.
Dh was told to fly into Charlotte and drive the 3 HOURS to the Outer banks, well DH just called me, he had booked his ticket yesterday and was waiting for something to download on the computer so he mapquested from the airport to the wedding site, its FIVE and a HALF HOURS, the ticket for the closer airport is almost $200 more and I don't think we can get a refund on the other ticket, if not? $700
We have been refering to the wedding as the "circus" for a few months now, there is so much more to say, but I told DH I am 2 steps away from telling him not to go.
I realize this is all miniscule in the grand scheme of life, but this is costing us a bundle and its ridiculous!View Thread
