She plans on having 4 or 5 kids (not so sure her hubby is on board with that) so I don't think she'd mind all the extra.View Thread

Speaking of showers and tackiness, I'm hosting one for a friend of mine, and I was thinking small gathering at her place. I asked her husband for an invite list and he sent me 30 addresses!!!! Sheesh! I'll send them all, but I'm hosting it at a buffet type restaurant and everyone can purchase their own meals. I thought that was a bit tacky, but after further consideration, I can't afford not to be tacky. I can't feed all those people so Ryan's can. Shiiiiid.View Thread

My DB's best friend is getting married and his bride said that none of his groomsmen can bring dates. Where they do that at?
I was listening to the radio and this caller called in and said she wanted all of her bridesmaids to get the same cut and highlights in their hair, none of them could weigh more than 130 the day of her wedding, and they couldn't drink at the reception. Her rationale was this is her one day and it's about her and they should support her by doing what she wants. The thing is, she expected them to pay for their hair and gym memberships if they needed one. She couldn't understand why they were all about to bail on her and callers on the radio about it kept telling her she was crazy and the DJs were also like, ma'am you're being a b***h, and she was getting mad! She couldn't understand why the world wouldn't revolve around her on her wedding day.
My sorority sister got married and told a bunch of the sorority sisters she was closest too she wanted them to be in her wedding. Well, flash forward to when she posts her story on one of those ourweddingblahblahblah.com sites and she lists her bridesmaids and all but 2 of them are on the list! We all almost boycotted the wedding period. No one wanted to go, but we ended up going just to see each other and to have a free meal. She didn't even send us invites in the mail, no evite or anything and it was a pretty swanky affair.View Thread

For me, I was on the pill 5 years. Stopped them in Feb 08 b/c I wanted to start another brand, but got lazy about getting a prescription in. I wasn't too worried b/c for some reason did not think that I could get pregnant. The year before we'd been going at it for 5-6 months with no protection and nothing ever happened. Anyway, 2 months after I stopped the pill, I got pregnant. Oops.View Thread
