I too have been suffering from severe anxiety and stress. For me I believe i can pinpoint the exact time in my life when it was triggered. I had just found out that my wife had cheated on me and was pregnant, at the time it was unknown whether the child was mine or the other man, or if this was the first time she had cheated on me so you can imagine the stress and anxiety that one must feel, Matter became worse when i had my first big Panic attack- i thought i was having a heart attack, Lightheaded, sweating, chest pains, shortness of breath, heart pounding like a V8 engine confusion. the rescue came and gave me baby aspirin and nitroglycerin as standerd protocol. while on route the hospital he asked the scale of pain was it 1-10 i said 1 maybe 2 and he replied maybe your having a panic attack,,,I said what is that and he explained that its all the emotional and physical stress that people accumulate along with poor diet and substance abuse, so he asked me " are you under alot of stress" I laughed and said "yeah I have 6 kids lost my job and home and just found out my wife cheated on me and is pregnant.. =/ He said wow yeah its most likely anxiety. I went to the hospital and later on my primary doctor and was told that everything was fine minus the fact that i smoked cigarettes in which they advised me to stop. To Make a long story short Go to your doctor get a full check up and have them rule out any physical symptoms that may cause your anxiety if you check out fine then thats when the healing process begins, learn to reduce stress and take care of your self, remember your mind is a very powerful muscle it controls your life basically and your body as well treat it with respect and take care of it and it will do the same for you, I still suffer from anxiety but feel its getting better everyday, Go to the chiropractor and get adjusted ,exercise and make sure to eat and live heathy and be around positive situations remember you only live once make sure its a good one most of the time.View Thread
