I've had anxiety problems and OCD for most of my life. They cropped up during my teenage years and it wasn't until I started exercising during my college years that I noticed how much lower my anxiety level had become. Its the vigorous aerobic exercise and outdoor sunlight that raises your serotonin levels and reduces your anxiety level. I alternate running and bicycling so that get 5 or 6 days a week of aerobic exercise outdoors in the sunlight. Even if you still need medication, a regular exercise program can get you to a lower dose.View Thread
