As a hypnotherapist who has worked with anxiety clients in the past, I know that EFT (a technique that uses tapping on acupuncture points) is an effective way to rid yourself of anxious/repetitive/unproductive thoughts. Hypnosis is also helpful because it works on the subconscious part of your mind to change the way you think on a day to day basis and give your conscious and subconscious parts of your mind the tools to get out of the "thinking rut" an anxious mind gets into.
