"Sometimes other parents just dont understand exactly what we go through, and how exausting it is. Worrying about your child's next breath. "
Wow, it's not very often I read a paragraph and feel like it cuddles me with understanding.
My daughter has had problems breathing since she was 3 weeks, she was placed on CPAP after developing Bronchiolitis. Since then she constantly has chest infections, which then of-course triggers off her Asthma.
Her father (who has neither met her or seen her) confirmed he had childhood asthma so she has most likely inherited it from him.
She's 1 now and getting her to one was my proudest moment. When your child has respiratory problems every day is a triumph.
We've been in hospital 15 times and we now even have a nebuliser at home. It's the Omron Paediatric one, but it's loud! Looking up to purchasing a silent one. We use her inhalers and spacer everyday and do see a difference, but only for a few hours.
