I've never posted here but I just want to know if any asthma sufferers
on here can relate to what I am experiencing.
I am 21 years old and for about 3-4 years I have experienced
a prominent ticking noise that comes from my throat upon exhaling. This noise
is loud, I can hear it clearly on mobile phone recordings. And it feels as if it
is ticking in synch with my heart beat. I used to only experience it every now and again (maybe once a month) during physical exertion. Now I am experiencing it 5+ times a day
followed by loud wheezing when it's not occurring. It's very uncomfortable and I'm going to see a doctor next week. I have some minor issues with asthma in the past but am unsure what this sound is or if related. I guess I'm just wondering if anyone can relate to this at all? Because all of my friends and family that hear it are very confused by it. It's not like a wheeze, it's like a clock inside my throat, in time with my heart. That is very loud upon exhaling. And very uncomfortable in the chest. Hmmm... View Thread
