I am 23 and my 26-year-old sister has Asperger's. She has never had many friends, but now that we're older this is causing some issues. We are both recent college graduates, but whenever I mention moving out or make plans without her, she becomes extremely upset. She says I am her best friend and may be the reason she's alive (she has been treated for depression, suicidal thoughts and cutting) which makes me feel guilty and fearful that she will flip out if I leave. How can I show her that the world won't end if we have our own lives?View Thread
