I started having moderate low back pain about a year ago, and it has gotten significantly worse in the last few months. I was without health insurance for awhile, but now have insurance. I cannot get an appointment to the doctor for about 2 months, and I am having a tough time managing my pain. My left leg occasionally goes numb, and the pain intensifies when I lie down, and when I first stand up. Degenerative disc disease runs in my family. Is there anything I can do at home to manage my pain until I can get to the doctor? Ibuprofen doesn't do a whole lot.View Thread
