I most admit after reading peoples discussion about the scs, I am truly afraid. I am 30 years old and have gone through multiple back surgeries. The last one was a fusion done at the L5-S1 level. I felt immediate relief after the surgery, that was back in Oct 09. My pain has come back and has forced me to leave work again. My doctor said that I was an ideal candidate for the SCS trial. I did it and saw much improvement at the end of the week. I am scheduled for the permanent SCS next Tuesday. So far, all I have read are horror stories. Can someone post anything positive? Looking for honest stories. Up to date I have tried everything go get my life "back to normal", before my injury. Have tried accupuncture, physical therapy, water therapy and have had little to no relief from that.View Thread
