I've seen a neurologist, pain doc who used to be anesthesiologist, spine guy, orthopedist and a chiro. All of them don't know as all mri's have come back negative. I looked around on Internet and haven't found anything on on comparison between slow leak head problems or tension headache.View Thread
Also he did a brain MRI and an EEG he did the MRI for any irritation of the meninges so meningitis he said he saw nothing. I thought I had to do a spinal tap for that myself but this has been going on for 2 months so I'm assuming it would be worse if it was meningitisView Thread
No I've been having l5 disc herniation causing pressure on my sciatic nerve. I had two steroid injections one on each side.those accomplished nothing and provided no help so he ordered the myelogram and I stupidly agreed without doing any reading on it. The myelogram caused a leak 2 months or so ago. I had two blood patches and first one erase the major squeezing typ thing but after the second one it was minor improvement maybe and no I am here.
There are no injuries or accidents that could have caused this.thanks againView Thread
Try not to make a really long post cause I have another topic just below this. After over a month I'm still lightheaded with a squeezing feeling towards the front of my head and when I lye down I think it's a little better but still pressure and squeezing type feeling in my face. Also I was able to sit up for over 3+ hours yesterday without any severe squeezing which leads me to believe its now tension headaches? I have the dizzy/vertigo feeling still but it seems when I'm doing something it's not as bad I really don't know.
Sorry for the multiple threads just frustrating after two mri's and an EEG and no doctor knows what's going on. I really don't want another myelogram to see if there's a leak but I might have to for peace of mind
Definitely still better lying down but I think that's true for a lot of headaches
Also I was able to golf.it was a little hard but still is this possibly a really slow leak still? Seems like if it was I wouldn't be able to do these things, frustratingView Thread
It's still going lol. Got pains in forehead and ears when I lie down mostly and today was terrible fogginess.cot cat scanned sinuses to make sure nothing was going on.doc doesn't think meningitis he had me tilt my chin towards my chest said that would hurt if I had meningitis. So I guess back to square one. Don't think I'm leaking anymore but I guess I could be. Hoping its nothing serious but trying to get MRI just in caseView Thread
Hey all update I guess. I had a second blood patch done today and really no noticeable differences.sometimes I feel better but I still get some pains in top and near front of head. Doc said he never had to do more than two blood patches so hopefully it fixes itself quickly cause this fogginess pe feeling is ridiculous. Haven't been able to do anything in 2 weeks.View Thread
I got the myelogram last Thursday had a blood patch this Monday. The intense squeezing headaches are gone I get the occasion headache I one spot on my head.main thing right now is vertigo/dizziness type stuff and foggy feeling, I think its honestly better but things are still moving and if I move my head quickly side to side back of my head is heavy.
I told the doctor who did the blood patch that all but the heaviness in the back of my head and he told me to wait a couple days. He said with no intense headaches he doesn't want to do a blood patch.View Thread
Just got back and the doc who did the blood patch said he really thinks this will resolve itself so wait a few more days and if not then another blood patch. He also said not necessary for me to lay flat which I found weird. He admitted might be small week but he said moving around wouldn't make it worse. Any thoughts? Seemed odd to meView Thread
Update: everything is still the same and my legs and arms are getting weak it seems.i first went to a doctor due to the. Disc pinching in my sciatic nerves and annoying my left leg. Now it's extremely weak.nt sure if its aggravating that or I just haven't walked in a week and a half really.
Lightheadedness and foggy feeling especially is still there. Arms are weak. Hurts to lay down as week cause I feel pressure in my face and forehead also ears and all around top of head. So frustrating especially since I didn't want the myelogram in the first place.guess I should've never shown up that's on me but didn't know this could happen for this long.
Have an appointment on Monday. No death grip headache but some shots of pain in different areas.what if its not a spinal leak but just things trying to get back to normal?also I get really hot sometimes.just brief periods of getting really warm. Is a blood patch dangerous if no leak?View Thread
