I had L5-S1 fusion. 6 titanium screws, 2 brackets, and 2 carbon fiber spacers. I went about six months with very little back pain then one day it hurt exactly like it did before the surgery. Except now my calves are flexed 100 percent of the time. The cramps are so bad I am not sure I can continue to walk on them. This is bad because I am a UPS supervisor. I have not missed a day of work since the surgery ( this September will be 3 years.) but I don't know how long I can take this pain. Going to go see my surgeon and ask him what he thinks. He wanted to do a second back surgery due to all the pain but of course UPS doctors fought it and won. Life sucks with all this pain. Anybody figure this cramp issue out yet?View Thread
