Did you know you can create a direct link to other web sites when replying to or creating posts in WebMD Communities? Just follow these instructions.
Access the web site you want to link to.
Right click on the site's address at the top of your page. It will be something like "http//www.webmd.com/"
Click on the Copy option in the drop-down menu that appears
Create a discussion, tip, resource or reply to a post in a WebMD Community.
Get to the point in the text of your post where you want the link to appear, go the top of the reply or create box, click on the symbol that looks like a figure 8 on its side — if you hover over that symbol it will say link.
Another box will appear on your screen. It will have http// already in the box highlighted in blue. Simply right click in that box and select the Paste option from the drop-down menu.
Click on OK and the link will appear in your post. When you actually submit your post, you can click on that link and you will be taken directly to that web site. You may need to click on Continue if prompted to do so.
This method allows an easy way to directly access linked websites.View Thread
