Any ideas on why this happens to her or what the issue could be? Any ideas on how to correct or prevent this problem?View Thread

Once in a while I will get pain in my left thigh where it hurts to stand, usually I get this at work like yesterday while unloading the truck which is about 8-9 carts of 36-46LBS. boxes. Like yesterday the pain seemed to be gone after a hour after work which I left at noon when done with the truck which i don't start until it shows up on our lot. Any ideas on what could be causing this?View Thread

Any Ideas on what this could be? Should I be consulting my Primary Care Doctor or would a Chiropractor be good enough and to just have an adjustment? What could happen If I do nothing?
Also sometimes I tend to get a really bad pain that is only in the back of my left thigh. I usually get this pain after standing for long periods of time. I usually get when I am unloading the Truck at work, I work at a McDonald's in Illinois.
Could this be symptons for sciatica or something else? Any Ideas? If it is Sciatica, what can I do when I get or what can I do to prevent it?View Thread

I do know that I have scoliosis since 1994 (I was 12 Then). One day When I came home from Junior High my right ear was just about touching my right shoulder, so my mom rushed me to the family chiropractor and they took Xray's and found out I had scoliosis. I then went to the chiro 2-3 times a week for 3-4 months for neck and scoliosis. Also after fixing my neck and finding out I had scoliosis, I also have a leg length inequality of app.2 inches. They wanted to possibly do back surgery for my scoliosis but the chiropractor thought I was too young, so they did nothing, and I have done nothing for my leg length inequality or scoliosis since i saw the chiropractor back in 1994.
Should I be getting this checked out by my chiropractor or could this be in relation to my problem above, any ideas? What could happen If I do nothing?

Also a great website for parents with teenagers who have scoliosis to get advice, get more info on what scoliosis is.
other resources I have read are two books
Stopping Scoliosis by Nancy Schommer
Scoliosis Sourcebook by Michael Neuwirth
Coping with Scoliosis can't remember author's name but is a light blue book with an xray of scoliosis on cover. This book is a great book for kids/teenagers who have scoliosis or think they do to readView Thread

jszaradowski posted: Last Wednesday December 15, 2010 when I got up to go to work to unload the truck , I had severe pain in my left side below the ribs, above the waist as in reading this and other websites refer to it as flank pain. I still had that severe pain the next day, barely move The pain was so severe that I could barely move to get up to use the bathroom or just to lay from my back to my side, etc. But only that evening I cointinually felt like I needed to go thre bathroom even though I had just gone to the bathroom and everytime I went very llittle came out. I now don't feel the urge to go to the bathroom as often, but still have the same back pain on my left side it is not as bad as last Wednesday or Thursday and the pain was not as bad yesterday. I was laying an ice pack in that general spot which did seem to help with the pain a little both on Thursday, and Friday and will use it tonight when i go to bed between 8PM-9PM. I do not feel nausea or vomiting and do not have pink or red in my urine.Any advice on what it could be or what I should do? Would a chiropractor help with this pain?

One in a while, while at work I will get pain where it hurts to stand up in my left thigh( upper leg) after standing for a long time or sometimes I am unloading the wednesday or Sunday Truck order. The pain seems to come and go, after sitting for a while it goes away.
Any ideas on what can cause this?View Thread

Also haven't seen a MD for a regular physical, since my physical for 9th grade, only saw three different internal medicinists last summer for two seperate occasions, the first one was a plugged right ear( turned out to be an ear infection) had antibiotics(Ammoxicilion) and ear drops for that one, then a week later for a recheck, then about 1 week later for a plugged left ear which they cleaned out the wax.
