Re: Reply: Just got Diagnosed and then compare it to this thread.
Attention is what she wants: ignore it, censor those who come with the intent to stimulate and abuse multiple boards. There is a history of doing it on nearly every board. For the greater good it is better to kick one!.
And for those of you who haven't read the changes in the privacy policy "read them". In a nutshell it entitles WebMd to share and track information with third-parties that pay to use their site. This is site is moving towards a position of arguably promoting illness in some respects. Mental health should not be a business.

Happy you googled it. Would have been horrible to let that mind of yours run wild. Should mention that it it can be normal if to get a message machine, especially if you call during a non-business hour, because these aren't considered crisis hotlines so do leave a message. They typically will get back to you in twenty-four hours and as the name implies generally of course will do an adequate job at making you feel comfortable and welcome. At the very least, they can help direct you towards resources you may not have been privy to. It can also be a good medium for someone who is reluctant to completely open up to strangers in a new group or needs to talk, but not direly urgent.
P.S. Even at the crisis hotline the majority of the calls we received and therefore trained for were not for persons who were suicidal. That actually happened rarely although it was a suicide-hotline those are also perfectly fine to call. If I had some money to put on it, I'd guess that is at least part of why they are called crisis or hot-lines now. The larger ones will be able to accomodate better. They want people to call before things turn into a potentially life threatening situation.View Thread

Maime...even those of us that are most seasoned won't venture out and make claims as bold as you have in regards to prediction of cycles. And by seasoned, I'm not talking about any of us, I'm talking about those who have made it successfully into competitive stressful fields and kept their gloves on. As for the comment(s) I made, I owe you an apology, you got caught up in something larger. Don't take the bait and get sucked in to some of this b.s. It appears very pre-packaged and anonymous may be building his new narrative. There is probably a reason speedknitter didn't get responses.
Dear anonymous. I saw the hyperlink comparing yourself to Temple Grandin and I laughed because you certainly you don't think in pictures and while I said you were intelligent, please don't misconstrue that for being a visionary that goes on every single da*77## board to enflame conversation.View Thread

Mercy,
Give yourself a little permission to have fun and don't feel guilty about it (not saying go out and sleep with random people). The only suggestion I have, because it sounds like you are doing everything right is call a warm-line if you want to work out problems with more in depth analysis. Sometimes that helps people. Few people function wholly without breaks. If the warm-line isn't your thing and you don't want to open up to NAMI immediately jot these things down (sometimes it helps motivate when the easier is at the top) and cross off as you brainstorm or complete.
P.S. Use all the characters you want! You bring alot to this board, for many.View Thread

The problem is that the individual takes time from many on this board other than the doctor and moderator for questions they already know the answers to and it is polluted with lies. Why? They don't belong here and they are not bipolar. Once I have someone in a forced checkmate I can be quite belligerent. Apparently you did not take the time to read her response that openly admits upwards of six usernames regularly being used.
As for why I am compelled to do so, many who are still on here today helped me in more ways than I could imagine about five years ago and I have been watching and documenting these narratives.
I will not let people I care about be manipulated. This individual can ask for help the right way or can continue to dramatize, fictionalize and make up stories, but the others have a right to know precisely what is happening.
P.S. If I ever need a consultant for a private practice after finishing school I'll look you up.
Would the next anonymous or individual who stakes a claim with an anonymous pseudonym please stand up!View Thread

I don't think you are too confused. You responded forthright on the talkshow a month ago. Quite frankly I'd question anyone who wasn't having a difficult time following this. You have created a puzzle, frequently debated amongst your own usernames to ignite further discussion or enflame the different board you are on at a given moment. Anyone on here can go over and verify the information. Anyone on here can look up debates I have participated in and one of those has your comment regarding all these usernames coming from the same work address, and while the specific conversation that highlighted all the usernames with a single computer was deleted by webmd your response is not. So go ahead and play me down.View Thread

Analysis and further understanding to this psuedonym's question can be found on borderline personality disorder board under "Ressurection", per An_000000's blackened name and her prior admittance that all these usernames come from the same origin; nonetheless ip address. Then her proclamation that all the other psuedonmys that are An_000000 are co-workers and originate from the same workplace computer. She introduced herself as being from Bahrain with an Irish doctor. She is proclaimed to be in the medical field and has her terminology down pat but simultaneously will post recovery from manic cycles (4 in a year was her last claim), her posts can be found on a variety of boards and Dr. Goldberg you know there is only one An_000000. You and WebMD play this game and entertain the cycle.
P.S. Anonymous, whoever you are, put your intelligence to better use because you certainly have a brain and it is not worth wasting. WebMd if you are promoting that user as a springboard for discussion on all the different boards they are on that is truly a shame.View Thread

Zonisamide for one has a number of studies "primarily in Japanese" that in adjunct may have anti-manic suggestive value. And to clarify I did not say you said Lyrica is unproven. This board isn't dumb. They are aware there are a number of studies that are unpublished and at one point or another the medications they themselves are on were not documented.View Thread

Maime,
For the record Dr. Goldberg never suggested changing anything. That does emphasize something I'd like to point out. It sounds like you may be taking what your doctors are saying and misinterpreting them a bit, albeit unintentionally.
Above you mention you've made it through situations "according to your manic/depressive cycle" however you have only been on the medication five days, for a brief period during an outbreak of shingles and I really am not getting the sense you have any idea what bipolar is? You can predict a menstrual cycle with a fair degree of accuracy, some persons with bipolar can be triggered by seasonal changes or other events but have never heard of "set" days that can be pinpointed to the degree you are describing with the amount of inaccuracies in your post. Before you come on to a bipolar community and recommend to others that they should take Lyrica perhaps you should go to a Psychiatrist, (different from a family practictioner managing pain after a crash or a Psychologist) for an evaluation. Perhaps you misunderstood what the Psychologist was conveying? It's great that you have the pain under control and coping mechanisms to handle situations better than you did before.View Thread

Phew, well unlike Boleyn I get to keep my head.
We both realized what it was particularly when the medications were adjusted and fortunately we had a friendship that was so much stronger. You are absolutely right in regards to loyal friends and people do not understand our situation.
I hear you too on losing friends when you're not feeling so hot. It gets tough as we get older and people have life's that are busier. They want to spend their time out having fun. There's friends that I know will never disappear, but others that really want consistency and having lost a couple good friends I think due to this I have to at least recognize their perspective too. There were times I was bitter the apology wasn't recognized but they hung in their longer than most and had to let it go so to speak.View Thread
