Hey Mercy I've done this when necessary. It may be worth checking with your doc if it's still bothersome. Check if you can take 100mg of the seroquel an hour or two earlier then you usually do and then the additional 100mg in the early evening so you're not as tired in the morning. It depends on what you are using the seroquel for primarily. Under certain doses the impact on serotonin I believe is minimal (check with Dr. Goldberg), but many use this because other sleep combinations simply do not work or they need it as an adjunct with sleep medications. It merits a question to your doc. Nothing lost? My doses range from 100mg to at hopefully knock on wood never again situations 600 mg along with extended release during the day. Typically though 100-300mg with a median of 150-200mg.View Thread
Don't infer! Please. I was not aware of this rule, but I am very good at respecting boundaries and I thought it was implied you wanted that information to be answered of the board. Sorry, won't happen again.View Thread
Like I said, good to give the benefit of the doubt. Was a little disappointed thought the game was going to be a bit more challenging . And I completely understand about the email rule. The first person I ended up getting to know very well on here I slept with, but do have to say is my closest friend to this day.View Thread
Theres been times where I never could have imagined being in a position where I am today. Likewise, I've seen others turn their lifes around when they were headed in a direction that was expediting death and are now doing everything possible to contribute in a meaningful way to society. Dave I wanted to note on your youngest. Sometimes the hardest, toughest, but in some cases most fortunate turnarounds can be a product of seeing what happens when you have the run-ins with the law. He seems to be surrounded by great role models. I know in our case the hardest thing we had to do was cut him off while he went on his own path of self-destruction and saw where it ultimately led. Although, I'm not a person of faith I'd almost have to say this was nothing short of a miracle because he should have died a few times over. Really happy you came back to the board when you did!View Thread
Thought initially this was your recently changed quote and the paradox of bipolar and the cyclical repetitive nature of King Henry VIII's wifes alternating endings.
But then I realized it was simple so you will be receiving an email from my non spam account shortly giving you an overview of the questions you what the answers to. All I ask is you give the benefit of the doubt for the questions being asked for the time being.View Thread
I am a little apprehensive letting you get to know me, but willing as I have previously known and befriended persons who have also had bpd, but thank you for asking. It has also been interesting getting to know you. There are over five hundred discussions you have participated in and let me emphasize how important honesty is in building a support system. If you have made a couple of mistakes on this board noone will care (I think) but I do believe that if you get caught in lies over time it will come back to bite you and it will make stability and wellness harder to attain. This could be a NEW start, so don't come back where you left off. If you try to manipulate persons on this board or split conversations purposefully or with mal intent it will eventually become noticable. I will not participate in games so I would appreciate if we did not engage in these and if I see you attempt to play on others emotions I will call it.View Thread
Chronologically that makes sense and histrionically you typically under most circumstances are considered to be the most recent diagnosis although co-morbid diagnoses are common. For example, in high school odd, add and depression. Then I was fine so I was med free. At eighteen psychosis alongside a manic episode so the former diagnoses although notable were replaced with bipolar disorder.
Either way, most on here have issues with anxiety or obsessiveness from time to time. You have already received the affirmation that it is cool to be here so set out to do what you came to and make some friends!View Thread
Hey, Honesty, straightforwardness and a degree of maturity is expected. Admittedly, when you first posted I was very skeptical as to whether or not you were ficticious based on the disporportionate number of personality disorders, relationship issues and new members since an old one was called out very recently. A google search shows your past posts and the self-loathing behavior. Then there were some of the very outrageous claims for attention which I do give you credit for coming back and apologizing for. The people here on this board are nice. Two of those have already welcomed you with open arms. It's a new board, a new beginning, keep it clean and keep it honest. Life is dramatic enough and we all have stuff going on.View Thread
