When were you diagnosed and what is your diagnosis: Diagnosed in 1983 - then it was just bipolar. Now I am classified as Bipolar II.

Kids: Pets: 1 teenage son, no pets.
Triggers: Complicated - since 1983 I have been on and off my meds, therapy, etc. always convincing myself I had it under control, I was better than this, and even I grew out of it since I was in my forties. I classically self-medicated with alcohol since I was 14. Only until recently have I come to complete terms with my disease and alcoholism and once again getting to know and understand the true Scottye.
