A doctor while diagnosing the low back pain enquire about your past health history, symptoms and activities following which a physical exam may follow depending on what a cause of the pain may be known and a serious one may be ruled out.
Various medical examinations such as CT scans, MRIs and X-rays have been known not to help to know the cause. If your back pain is troubling you for more than 6 weeks, it may be advised to take up one of these above tests.
Treatment Of Low Back Pain
It has been known that most of the low back pain improves with basic first aid which includes doing light activities such as walking or taking some known and trusted prescribed medications such as Cymbalta, a selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor antidepressant (SSNRI) which has been proved to ease low back pain.
Walking can still be termed as the best and simplest exercise for lower back as it helps in blood circulation and keeps muscles to stay strong.
One may also try other things as well such as spinal manipulation, acupuncture and massage to keep the menace of low back pain away.
