Weather: It was sunny and is currently 88 degrees. Cloudy now with rain coming later and/or tomorrow
Sleep: Pretty good.
Mood: Pretty good.
Plans: Wonderful wife working 1-9:30, both sons working 3-11. They work at the same place - a local 7-Eleven - and eldest son is a shift manager with his brother as the cashier today. Interesting. As for me, just relaxing and enjoying having the house to myself. Oh, and the 4 cats and 3 dogs.

Forgot to share in this community that I got an excellent deal on a 2011 Hyundai Elantra last Thursday. I had a 2010 Dodge Caravan that sat a lot as my wife has the same vehicle. We decided to try and get something with better gas mileage and our favorite dealer had just gotten in the Elantra. The best part is that it is Alure Red Metalic and I have always wanted a red car but it never seemed to work out.
Here is a picture of my new "Elly":

Have a blessed and marvelous Monday, friends.

Weather: Sunny and 76 degrees heading quickly for the 80's. A/C on already.
Sleep: Very good.
Mood: Very good.
Plans: Wonderful wife works 1-9:30. I wish we could get her out of retail management, but the job market is tight especially for someone "our age". We did some errands already. I made us a nice dinner of small steaks and rice. I need to water some flower pots this afternoon and play the rest of today by ear.
Have a blessed and salubrious Sunday, friends.

I applaud you for being able to calm yourself down somewhat. That was a big accomplishment. I guess I would recommend continuing to work with your doctor on the meds issue. Maybe you can find some type of relaxation techniques that would help - soothing music, meditation or prayer, etc.
I pray you find good solutions and relief soon.View Thread

Weather: Currently 66 degrees going to 80. Thunderstorms came through a few hours ago but it looks like it is clearing now.
Sleep: Very good.
Mood: Pretty good.
Plans: Eldest son, wonderful wife and I went to WalMart and then out to breakfast. Wonderful wife works 1-9:30 today. I will take my dad supplies (toilet paper, snacks, etc.) to him and eat dinner with him at his assisted living facility later. Trying to get my cold symptoms under control that I must have caught from bpcookie.

Have a blessed and super Saturday, friends.

Weather: Brilliant sunshine and 61 degrees heading up to 70.
Sleep: Pretty good. Newest Chihuahua puppy decided to yelp after we put her in her crate for the night at 11:30. I came back out for about an hour and just sat in the living room where her crate is and watched DIY Network. She finally settled and I went back to bed. She yelped again for about 15 minutes then it was all quiet until 6:30 am.
Mood: Pretty good. A bit manic. I can tell because my wonderful wife gets quiet while I ramble.
Plans: Picked up my dad at 7:30 am at his assisted living facility and took him to the VA hospital for an echocardiogram. He was diagnosed with congestive heart failure a few weeks ago and they are trying to determine exactly how to treat him. After that, we came and picked up my wonderful wife and eldest great son and all four of us went out to breakfast. Took my dad back to his ALF after that. Home now resting waiting for our contractor to come to quote a cost for new storm doors.
Have a blessed and wonderful Wednesday (I love spelling that word, LOL) friends!
