Thank you for bringing your concerns forward, Lotus. I expect that wasn't easy either.
There is room for all kinds of discussions. This community belongs to all of you and I hope you'll stick around and start discussions about things you want to talk about.
Those check ins can really help some members ground themselves and say hello and share what's going on in their day-to-day lives. But they're not for everyone. So start something else that interests you.
Responses to other discussions often don't get further responses and it can even sometimes depend on when you're posting.
(For example - and I don't know that this is the case for you - I have one busy community where members really welcome and support newcomers but anyone who happens to be in a different time zone and posting late at night compared to the other members can sometimes end up feeling left out. This isn't intentional but it does happen. That's why it's a good idea to start a new discussion now and then of your own and keep starting them. I hope you'll continue to give this community a chance.)View Thread

Busting in on this discussion... Prometheus is sort of a prequel to the first Alien. I love the Alien movies and so couldn't wait to see Prometheus and so saw it in the theatre with my sons. Let me know what you think when you finally see it, Cookie.View Thread
You can always change where it's listed. As long as you are the admin there you can click on the 'Manage This Community' linked from the left sidebar when signed in, and then follow the 'Community Keywords etc.' link. View Thread
I encourage you to start a new discussion about this on our Relationships and Coping Community (follow this link).

I know the Women's Health community can move very fast and sometimes things go unanswered there, Bpcookie.
For this kind of thing you might want to try our Menopause Community if you have questions in the future... a bit quieter but with an active expert who seems to get to everything when she looks in. View Thread
Dr. Louise Chang from our WebMD medical staff is going to be taking part in a panel discussion at the White House on Monday, June 11 — Online Seniors' Health Town Hall -- regarding affordable health care for seniors.
If you are a senior or a caregiver for someone who needs affordable care, we'd love to gather your questions and comments for Dr. Chang to present to the panel. Providing these questions give the folks who make the laws insight into how REAL people are affected by their decisions.
We appreciate your feedback and candor, and look forward to passing it along.
[Trigger] I agree with all the responses you've received so far.... you need some ongoing professional help wherever you can find it. Please let your pdoc know exactly what you've told us here so he can help you get the help you need and deserve, while still ensuring your mother has the care she needs.
