Weather: sunny and cold. 31 degrees out when I woke up this morning (last week it was in the 80's).
Sleep: very good
Mood: anxious but good.
Plans: had a friend over today. I always enjoy it but when it is over, I am drained. Need to do my shoulder exercises for PT and rest it. Hurt my other shoulder and back lifting the dog yesterday so need to go easy.
Melly...I know we all hate those "angry" days. I just feel anxious today and can't put my finger on why. Well, I kind of can. I get those "feelings" and feel like something is up with my second son. I have to just trust him. I hope you can find something else to focus your energy on and let the bedroom stuff wait for another day. What tickets did you miss out on? Sorry if I missed something.
Sleep: so-so...dh had the window open, the window fan on and it was in the 30's. I had my electric blanket on and still froze but was too tired to move to the couch.
Plans: had physical therapy. Rough morning with my dogs...had to lift and carry my older dog and give her bath, something I shouldn't be doing. Now my back hurts. Did still go to the gym and I am cleaning now. I hope you can inspire me Melly! My bedroom is a mess. It used to be nice and neat and my place of retreat. Now, I can't stand it.
Take care! (San...if you are there...I will asnwer your post later..have to run).View Thread
Oh no! I hope by now you are over the worst of that and doing better. How scary! And why do these things seem to happen at night and on weekends when we are put in a hard position as to what to do. How awful...as if you don't have enough discomfort. Let us know how you are doing. ((((Cookie))))View Thread
Welcome. Like Cookie said...unfortunately, your meds need some more time. Just to be realistic...it takes time to find the right meds and dosage but don't give up. Don't be too hard on yourself either. Just do your best. Take care and let us know how it is going.View Thread
(((Melly))) sorry to hear you are struggling. Hope you get through to the insurance and get some answers. I hate dealing with the insurance companies/drs offices, etc. I have been waiting over a month for a referral from my drs office...still nothing and I don't want to deal with it. I hope you can enjoy some time with your boys and enjoy dinner out. It sounds like that would be a nice way for you to relax.
Cookie...yesterday you mentioned looking for another dog. I highly encourage that! There have been a few "moments" between our senior dog and our puppy but overall, they get along and it turns out it has helped our senior dog a lot to have that companionship. All of our pets..dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs...have done best with a companion. Good luck with that decision. Plus, you have a wonderful home to give some lucky dog that needs a warm, loving home.
PS...finally was able to get rid of the penguins! My pic is my puppy. Well, she is a year old now but still small and looks/acts like a puppy still. this is the pup with the heart condition.View Thread
