bit late but have been running round like mad recently. struggling but got a letter yesterday saying Ia m at the top of the waiting list for psychotherapy - finally - but is has thrown me slightly. waiting is fine. Realisation I am going to have to deal with the things in my past is scary. Been cutting down on my meds (some with the help of my dr) and am now worried I am not going to be able to cope when I start therapy. Nearly done on my individual DBT - only a month or so to go. Thats also scary. big changes - I don't like big changesView Thread

Hope you are having a good relaxing day as well.

I think I know who you are talking about and I can only guess it is because she has been around for ages and ages so people want to know she is ok.
You have been doing so well. It is great that you have been getting help and support from people here. Everyone cares for everyone on the boards but I know sometimes it doesn't feel like it. I have felt similarly to you on occasions but still I come back because there is common feeling here.

If cutting is the only way you can stay safe then please look after your injuries. Call a helpline if you need to as well.View Thread

whatever happens about this well done for trying to find out what happened and taking the brave step to talk about it.View Thread

Welcome to the board
What other things have you been diagnosed with and are you on any meds atm?
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////possible triggery stuff/////////////////////////////////////
I think that should be enough space
Everyone has different triggers when it comes to cutting (or any other form of self harm) but it is a way we have all learned to deal with situations where we are lacking other coping skills.
I am having trouble finding words today so can't even write what is in my head. Sorry.
You might find re-posting on the self harm community board gets you more answers. I post there as well.

You have been doing brilliantly and yes we do want you around!
What makes you think that you don't fit in or that nobody wants you? I haven't seen any indication that is what is happening?
