I don't know how I am meant to be feeling - I graduated from my dbt class today. haven't given much thought to how I would feel but really low is how it is. I want to hide away and stay there. tried to be positive this afternoon, had a free make up demonstration, checked out the sales etc but now I am back home I just feel so down. Everyone is expecting me ot be 'better' now cause I have finished but it is still a huge struggle and I am not sure people will understand this. I hate how I can go from happy and contented to miserable in just a few hours.View Thread

I'm still here but so tired I haven't been on for a while. Need to spend some energy getting me a bit better. I have currently got my 3rd cold in less than 3 months and think I am working too hard. Doing 6 days and 4 nights a week. Exhausted isn't the word. Nearly finished my DBT course so a bit scared about that. I am away in Estonia next week but will be back the week after.
I hope you are doing ok and that the meds are helping.
got to do my homework before I get to bed and it is already nearly 1am so have to go now.

Have you gone over your skills to see what may be able to help? There is a good website I use to supplement my skills (posted further down the main discussions page. Can you talk about it with either of your docs - I mean do they have any DBT training/knowledge?
I guess it is hard once the course finishes to keep practising the skills (nearly finished mine) as other things take over the dedicated time you once had. Is it possible to get on a refresher course? or set aside some time every day/week to practise them.
All else fails ask anyone here - some of us have done the class and others haven't but it may help.View Thread

What you say is not true - you are a great member of this community. You don't offend people and you don't have to ask for forgiveness - we all have our problems and ways of dealing with them (some of which have brought us together here).
Don't fade away - I was touched you put a message up asking if I was alright so thank you for that. that was an action of a kind and thoughtful person - YOU!
Take all the time you need, focus on your skills and putting them into practice in every day life. Be honest with your T and come here whenever you need to.View Thread

I have nearly finished a years worth of group skills sessions. yes its hard but it does become more natural with time. I don't know about you but I found lots of it makes so much sense.
have a horrid cold to contend with as well now and there have been far too many @£$%)*&(^( idiots at work that I could have well done without. Was in tears earlier but managed to get through the shift.
