A bit of history, after I finished chemo & radiation and surgery, I tried Femera and lasted about a month, it caused a lot of pain, then in July I tried Aromasin and last abt two & half months and had to go on blood pressure and cholestrol meds. After that I did not attempt anything else. In 2010 I was told about 75% that it would come back. We found it in the lining of the peritoneal and the spine and pelvis area. I went on the generic, Letorolze and we have been able to control it up about a couple of months ago, tired Aromasin again, but came off of it because I forgot about the blood pressure and I about ended up in the funny farm with the combination of the drugs. I hope that you are able to stay ahead of the game here. I do not have the energy I use to have but I still walk, ride my bike and presently trying to get my flower beds all planted this weekend as the weather has cooled down some. Have a nice day
Cheers

I normally do not have such great success, I got my seeds from a new seed company and they were pretty inexpensive, they came with a few hundred in a packet. I put them onto trays next thing the silly things all germinated. Lots of work, tomorrow if it is not raining I will be putting some in, I have sold quite a few.
Mind you all I have done this week is get all of my flowers beds ready to plant, only problem is are the bulbs that are not ready to be cut down, so I have to plant around everything.
Have a great day

On May 14th I was four years out with Stage 3 Lobular, no nodes involved. What stage are you at in your treatment? It is not a easy road.... That is my good news, I made it two years before it was found in other places. I am doing good, still active and enjoying what I can in life. I do wish you lots of luck,

How are you doing, so glad that you have taken the time to enjoy Mothers Day, I had a good day, got some relaxing in - family all came over and we had a good dinner children and grandchildren, one of the in-laws did not show so made it really nice for a change not to have him and his loudness at the dinner table. I am enjoying this warm weather as long as I am in the shade and need to get outside while it is cool and get some flower beds prepared for all the flowers I have to put in them.
Have a nice day and hope your Mothers Day was a good one.
Cheers''

Spring is the best time of year when we see all of the daffodils, tulips and other spring blubs popping there little heads up above the ground and the pansies are picking up after the surviving a long hard winter. Like you I am always anxious to see what survived the winter, I did give my roses a good whacking, fertilized them, thought i gave them a good watering as it rained as well, my climber is not looking as good as the others, It will be twenty years this July that I have had my roses, not a lot of them but they were given to me by my USA mother when my mother died back in 1993.
Anyway when I was a young girl, we would visit some friends who owned a farm and when one would walk outside in the morning you could hear all of the birds singing, I think it has taken me close to fifty years to figure out what bird was singing, it was the Robin. When I get up early and walk that is all I hear as I am walking through the neighbourhood, are the Robin's singing... At times I just close my eyes and think of my younger years.
Spring also gives me hope, we can start anew. Winter is fun if you love the snow and the cold, I think everyone has a season that is their favourite, Spring is number one for me and fall is the other number one. I just love it when things start to cool down and you can sit outside and enjoy all of your hard work that you began in the spring. Mind you sometimes by mid August I am hoping for a freeze get tired of all the yard work, but when the weather cools one gets to enjoy the fruits of our labours.
Cheers to you and everyone else, enjoy today, I will for sure, it is time to go to the nursery.
Roberta, my seedlings have done well, I have over 200 tomatoes plants, 600 petunia's and 300 lobelia plants, I know I am nuts..... it is my new cancer therapy,
Love to all

Just want to write to say hi to all and sorry that you are all going through the ill effects of this damn cancer, but lets look outside and enjoy all of the newness that this time of year brings. The pansies, daffodils and tulips are all showing their true colours, some of the my trees and shrubs are budding and even beginning their journey of leafing out. I know that we all live in different parts of the country and world but it is Spring were I am at, the snow has gone for now, yeah and it is somewhat warmer that what it was in Jan & Feb of this year. A little worried about the lack of snow we got this year though, as I need all the water I can get to keep my petunia's and other plants growing and looking great all summer long.
I hope that we can share a favourite spring story that will cheers us all up. My story is that Spring brings with it new beginnings, new life and a newness to one that we can endure all and carry on....
I hope that where ever you are the sun is shining and the bulbs are blooming...
Cheers to all

I am so sorry to hear about this. I did not have what you had but after my third treatment of Taxol, I could hardly walk - it took me close to a year when getting out from a chair to get up and walk, without telling my brain to put one leg in front of the other. I mean once I got going I was fine. I sure hope that things get better for you. Sorry probably not very reassuring on my part.View Thread
