Hi Roberta, We don't have the ice cream here either!!! Hopefully soon. Your coffee sounds amazing! Who makes it? I usually buy Dunkin Donuts beans and grind them fresh every morning. Today is gorgeous, and I had my coffee out on the deck - finally, no rain on the weekend! I hope you are feeling well. A few sinus issues for me and I still think that is a worse problem since chemo. Nothing came back the same and sinus headaches are the worst! I am managing tho. It won't keep me in or form enjoying he beautiful day! Have a great weekend - Jenna xoView Thread
Roberta, what an ordeal! I am glad it looks nice after all the wait, and I have never been in a lowe's and based on what you have shared, I never want to go there!
Next time I food shop I will look for the canoli ice cream and can't wait to hear your reviews on my 2 favorites. Ben & Jerry's is one of my most favorite brands, but I like Hagan Daaz too. Now, look at that, I am craving ice cream RIGHT NOW!!! LOL! I do have some Friendlys mint choc chip in the freezer that my son likes, so I might have to have a bowl to hold me over until I get some B & J's. Have a great day. Rainy and humid here today. Weed growing weather!
Thanks for posting this. Things do get better with time. I had an estrogen positive tumor, so between all the treatments it reeked havoc on me, but pain lessens with time. I take Arimidex now and that causes some dryness and itching as well. It is so hard to explain to those who have not been down this road how much we go thru!!!! Got to hang in there - glad things are better for you.
HI Roberta, Just checking in on you to see if the weather in upstate NY is as glorious as Boston? It really is great out this week and so pretty with all the flowers and trees in bloom. My legs have been giving me some trouble this week. The darn Arimidex. I can never predict when I'll be uncomfortable but I will go out for a nice walk later and that helps some. Enjoy the rest of the week - I am keeping an eye out for Ben & Jerry's cannoli ice cream. Sounds like it would be a winner to me!!! xo JennaView Thread
Roberta, that is so very scary! Boy, the weather lately has been so destructive everywhere. I still cannot get over Oklahoma and NJ is still recovering from their storm months ago. We were OK here in Boston. Lots of rain and lightening, but no damage around my area, thankfully. I did sit with my mom until it ended around 11pm last night, because she lives alone and it really scares her. My poor flowers look like drowned rats! Hopefully they come back with the now present humidity. be safe, love, JennaView Thread
Congrats on finishing the radiation treatments! I wore very loose fitting tops, no bra when I didn't have to. When I did need one I worse sports bras and slit the sides to be more comfortable, as I was swollen for a long time. I used Aquafor and aloe for the discomfort, although I never blistered. I bet some warm compresses would fee good for that. Also, staying hydrated and eating a healthy diet will help the whole healing process. I wish you good luck and hope the healing goes fast!!!
I agree with Janie. It is always better to get things checked out, and a second opinion will ease your mind. You know your body better than the docs do, and really, with the family history I would think they would be more pro-active. Sometimes doctors will do an ultrasound on dense breasts as it is more difficult for a mammogram to pick up anything when this is the case. best wishes to you and please let us know how you make out -
Roberta, I am so sorry to hear about your precious dog. Poor guy. I hope your scans gave you good results. Will be thinking of you - some more rain on the way for the weekend, but it sure is pretty. My house always looks best this month with the fresh blooms. Sometimes if I don't water constantly in the summer things start to wilt. My soil is a lot of ledge, so everything is extra thirsty!!! Well, speaking of ice cream, I just had a dark chocolate dove bar with vanilla ice cream - oh so yummy!!! I really need the chocolate fix!!!
will look for your test results - hugs, JennaView Thread
Hi Roberta, well I know how much you LOVE canolis so the ice cream must have put a HUGE smile on your face!!! I remember you had a cannoli cake for your birthday. Hope this flavor makes it to the stores and I will be sure to buy some and think of you!!! We had a nice warm day today but thunderstorms tonight, so more weeds and bugs, for sure!!! I will say that my flowers are looking really good though. The only thing is we can't plant impatients which I love this year because of a fungus they have. Kind of creepy, really. I have beautiful geraniums, begonias, and tons of stuff I don't even know the names of!!!! The goal was color all summer long! So glad you had a nice relaxing trip hugs, JennaView Thread
