Relax---You do have to be kidding. It is tax time you know. I have to do our Inc junk and also my Mom's. Have been doing my Mom's for the last 4 yrs anyway. I just get all the stuff together and send it north to her tax man.
Ours is more complicated. hate this time of year when all I want to do is SEW. Seems as if there is always too much to do. Especially things I don't want to do. LOL
Hugs to you.

Please, go into Melissia's blog and read what either her DH or brother wrote on there. It is a very awesome tribute to her.

On the top of the page is a beautiful pic of her and DH on their wedding day. She fought BC for over 14 years. She tried everything from conventional medical stuff to holistic healing. It is well worth reading her blog. She did a superb job on it.
Melissia, you will be so missed. You gave it all you could and then some.
Much love

Just wanted to tell you what I have been up to lately. I had a "Celebration of my Mother's Life" party here locally for all the friends and family that did not go up to her Service.
I had it at her favorite place the Panda Chinese Rest. My son and grand-son made it down from up north. About a 2 hr drive for them. My daughter also came down from the same area. We had about 30-some people's. One of my friends DH wrote two cute poems. Boy, he is a real character. The poems were both cute and sad.
He writes short stories and poems. I admire him so much. I only met them about 3 yrs ago when I was going thru chemo. Another mutual friend had introduced us. Jeanne has been my local "Rock" and told me about the nice Dr. both of us had until he didn't get his contract renewed. Now I get to tell her about this other Dr I found. I am sure she is going to try to get in to see him, also.
Only thing is the clinic stated he was NOT seeing any new patients. But I cried, stormed and begged them to get me an appt. I explained I was NOT a new patient but fed up with the ones coming down to our town. Determination won the battle once again. LOL.
Back to the party. One of the aides came that played pool with my Mom whenever she had a few minutes each evening. She also told some really cute and funny things I had never heard before.
Of course, I was the one to get up and thank them all for coming. Then I started in with the stories. I was getting so nervous seeing all those EYES looking at me----Then I remembered from one of my speech classes in college---what the instructor had told us. IF you get nervous Just Picture everyone sitting there NAKED!!! Boy, it sure worked for me. LOL LOL.
Can you even imagine????---as most of the guys were Old. I almost got to laughing hystercially at the image of ALL those wrinkles. LOL.
Anyway it was well worth the effort on my part to put this party on for my Mom. Now it is time to relax and head to my sewing room. And to start on this disaster of a house. I am determined to swab out these over-stuffed closets and cupboards. I will leave my sewing room for last. Well, no, I did give my daughter 2 big boxes of baby quilt panels and fabric. Her church group makes small quilts to give to the Crisis Kids when taken away from their parents. So it all will go to a good cause.
Hugs all. Thank you for thinking of me. I am doing fine.

No Dr. Dreamy this time but a Nice Older Dr. that is very caring and will listen to ME. What a concept. I am so lucky I found him. He is in the same group as Dr. Iceberg but does not come down here to my local area. But I am fine with that. I will go 40 minutes drive to see him. NO problem.
Hope all is going well with you.
Hugs.

Hugs to you.

I am sending prayers this infection goes away quickly. I think Judy has a good idea about IV antibotics. They do work faster.

Yip, got a Good One this time around. He is no Dr. Dreamy but older. That is O.K. by me as he is really caring and Listens!!!
Yeppers, Dr. Dreamy came thru for me once again as this is the Dr--- he recommended.
Anyway, CT scans were all negative. Wheww. NED. (No Evidence of Disease!!!)
He explained they would do scans on me every 6 months for 4 yrs as this angiosarcoma is a sneaky type of ca. WOW---That is all I wanted--- to be monitored on a timely basis. He also explained what I needed to watch for such as any red area that stayed around for days and didn't go away. To keep really good track of just how I felt. If I had any questions What-So-Ever that came up to give him a call.
Geez, What a concept!!! A Dr that explains things and listens to what I had to say. All in all a very good appt.
So ladies, what I want to get across to each of you---IF you don't like a Dr that DOES not communicate with you LIKE you want---RUN do not walk to another Dr that will listen to your concerns. You are NOT stuck with a Dr that is NOT a good fit for you!!!!!.
We have to be our own best advocate!!! Just remember that one. We know our bodies and how we feel. You need a Dr that will listen.
I told him I didn't want a Dr. to hold my hand and pat me on my back and tell me all is O.K. when it might not be----- but wanted one that would explain things to me and ONE that would listen to ME.
So altho, he is not a Dr. Dreamy he is going to be a "Good Fit" for me.
Each of us need to learn from one another as we go thru this journey. I just don't want any of you to be sheep and follow the "Leader". Ask questions---Ask questions.
The Dr I saw in Nov did not answer one question I had. Then when he told me my rare cancer in my breast was so tiny---removed my breast, therefore I was cured!!! Well, I knew better than that. With angiosarcoma you are NOT cured but hopefully you put it into remission.
I am not telling you ladies, to question everything your Dr says but IF you don't understand what he is saying then ASK for an explaination. I know it is the most horrible feeling in the world to suddenly be told you have cancer. Remember to take a deep breath---Take the time to educate yourself the best you can. WE do have options.
It is NOT neccessarily a death sentence. I know the first thing you think of is "Get it OUT!!!" But we do have time to ask for ALL our options and get our questions answered.
This concludes my lecture for the day. LOL LOL.
Good luck to each of you.
I am one happy camper this A.M.

Well, today I go see my new Onc Dr. and get the results of my CT scans of chest, Abd, and pelvis. Plus my lab tests. This is the Dr that Dr. Dreamy recommended. Last Nov it seemed to be so far off. LOL.
Now the day is here!!!
So much has happened in my life the last month and a half, I almost forgot about these appts. I am so busy yet in dealing with all my Mother's things this appt seems like an intrusion on my life at the moment. But got to get it done. I am not worried. Just have to go 50 miles up north to see this new Dr. Right now, I just don't have the time to waste. LOL.
Hope everyone is recovering from that big storm.
Yes, Roberta, I have also started my seeds. Brocolli seeds need months to get going. Plus Cauliflower--Peppers and you name it. Our weather has been so nice I want to get outside but I know more cold weather is coming.
Hugs All

I have been so busy going thru boxes and stuff I decided to stay out of the kitchen for awhile. LOL.
DH goes down for coffee every late afternoon at a restruant so I just told him if he doesn't like my cooking then EAT when he is down there. LOL That didn't go over too well.
Actually I have been cleaning out my sewing room----Well, should I say re-orgainizing it. My daughter wants any and all fabric I want to get rid of as their church ladies have started a quilting group. They are making small quilts for crisis kids. Boy, I just found 2 big boxes of crib panels to be finished. AHA---I will never get them done in my life-time so she is getting all the panels. I did keep a couple of really cute ones I will make up for baby gifts.
For some reason my baby quilts do not sell down at the shop. So Weird as they are really cute. So decided for them and Me to part company. LOL.
Hope you didn't get much snow. We are having Spring weather as in the low 50's and sunny. Want to get my garden going. LOL LOL
Hugs
