I'm new here. I am still breastfeeding my 26 m/o baby girl because it is my choice. But my main question is my breast aren't the same size because my baby is much satified with the right breast than my left. It was the same size before and since I'm a right handed I too is much comfortable feeding her on that side but then I realized their size ain't the same anymore.
How do you make it the same size again? Can it still produce more milk like the right side if everytime I will need to feed her?View Thread
1. What kind of pump (brand, type, etc) would you recommend that I purchase?
2. How early before returning to work should I start pumping, and how much should I be pumping for a 9 hour stretch away from baby?
3. How long can I store the pumped milk in the refridgerator and freezer?
4. Do you have any other tips or advice for a first time nursing mom?
Thank you so much for all of your help!! I am really trying to do my homework so that I am prepared before the birth and returning to work.

However, I am on an antibiotic called cephalexin and wasn't sure if I can breastfeed him once he is born if I happen to be still taking it.
I was told that it is safe during pregancy, but that a small amount does go through the milk while breastfeeding.
Really upset that I even have to take antibiotics right before I deliver.
Thanks for the help.View Thread

I am still nursing my 16 month old DD and have been having some pregnancy symptoms. I have still had no signs of AF anywhere since getting pregnant with my DD. I had my tubes tied immediately following the birth of my DD on July 23rd, 2010. I have been feeling fluttering in my tummy ( I am a mommy of two and know what that feels like when baby moves in there), have been feeling nauseous regularly, have been getting heartburn every day(which I usually only experience during pregnancy) and when I was doing my superman abdominal work the other day I felt a hardness in my tummy. My tummy also has this feeling of hardness around my ribcage area, but not in my lower tummy area (it is soft there). We have not used any type of protection because I was under the impression that you cannot get pregnant again after getting your tubes tied so there was no sense in being careful. I go to get tested tomorrow but was wondering if anyone could give me some advice or answers from their own experiences or knowledge? Anything would help at this point.
