I think I'll try pumping after feedings. I'm pretty consistent on when I feed him--I pump or nurse at the same times everyday. When I began pumping 2 1/2 months ago when I went back to work, I was able to pump 7oz and now I struggle with just 3-4oz. Maybe this weekend, I'll whip up a batch of lactation cookies? View Thread
I bought a Lanisnoh and love it. I had a slight, user-related, problem with it a couple months ago. I was pre-pared to go to Target to buy replacement parts but wanted help diagnosising the problem, so I called their customer service line. The lady was SO nice, she shipped out replacement parts for FREE and over-night! It works great. Based on their customer service, I would definitely highly recommend Lansinoh.View Thread
Sore nipples around your period is normal. I put extra cream on them and that helps. Also, I've found that a few days before my period, I try to boost my calcium intake as well. I've had 3 periods now (baby is 5/5 mo) and it's gotten progressively better with each period--less pain.
Stay strong, don't cave in to formula. My son did this a couple of times early on too (he's 4mo now). I just switched sides and kept offering him the breast. He came around and continued eating like a champ. Another thing that helped me was to take a cool shower. You can do it! Keep at it.View Thread
