In my 20s I ate nothing but wheat products--bread, cereal, cookies, pasta, pizza crust, etc. I thought the excessive gas and stomach pain was just a normal part of life!
Then in my 30s it got worse to the point where I had heard about gluten and thought that maybe I should eliminate it. Wow! What a difference! No (noxious!) gas or bloating or stomach pain anymore! I never got tested, but I KNOW I have a gluten sensitivity!
Every once in a while I'll reach for that white bread/panini roll (my husband's) because it has less gluten (and I'm out of my gluten-free bread), but I always wake up the next day with a couple zits, so I know it's an inflammatory food for me.View Thread
