A deciding factor in my decision was that my shoulder, the first location affected, has now improved to the point that I can play sports again, and I do not want to start on another drug regimen that would risk taking me back into what was overall a very negative experience.View Thread

Your comments on the tobacco industry, and it taking so many years for public opinion to realize the harm done, is a valid one as it relates to this situation, or so it seems to me.
While public opinion cannot be measured with a metric that is known, it is actually changing in relation to statin drugs and their overall harm and or risks. I do know those within the medical community who are now much more open to seeing the harm from these drugs, than in the past, and while this is slowly changing, it is changing.
The next few years will likely continue to see more change, or so I perceive.View Thread

It is just this simple. I do not trust the drug companies..........period.
As a result, I want independent information for a 3rd party, who has no input or funding from the drug industry.View Thread

Since the PL is apparently the only independent source of drug information, free from drug company funding and influence, I am arguing that information from that source should be available to patients, so that ...........(since they are as you say, responsbile for their treatment).........they can have access to the best independent drug infor.
How do you respond to that point?View Thread

'I'm sorry, when did I say any of that?'
................and I just provided the answer...........and you don't have to go back to the beginning of the thread to read that part.View Thread

'The patient is responsible for their treatment, no one else.'
You might want to go back and read what else you have said here, and refresh your memory.View Thread
