I had port put in last year because I am a heart patient who has bad veins. After 6 tries to get an iv started, the cardiologist said she would start the iv on the cardiac cath table. It has only been accessed 2 times. I went in today for a colonoscopy and they were not able to access the port. Now I will have to go in hospital to get the thing evaluated. If it has to be replaced, that will mean surgery to take out and replace the port, plus money out of my pocket again for worthless piece of junk. I am not happy about this at all.View Thread
