I was out in the yard for a bit yesterday. Filled a couple of bags with leaves and such. Trash is tomorrow and now the bags are soaked with the latest round of rain. I hope they don't split when being lifted. Maybe I'll just wait to put them out later.
Put some seeds of brown-eyed susan's and butterfly bush in containers. Curious to see if they sprout. I used a plastic bag with zipper from a comforter as a make shift hothouse. Today it's unzipped and pulled away so the seeds can get watered.
Sympathetic to the sensory overload. It doesn't take much. sounds like all had fun.
My son wants to put in an invisible fence. I'm glad that the dogs took to it well.
Hope you can get some relief soon for that shoulder. Sounds frustrating!!!
P.S. There wasn't any personal insurance on Stefanie's belongings but the facility has their own. Everyone has been given information to open a claim etc. We itemized everything and will turn in the list once completed. Don't know if it will be a bundle offer or if each person will be evaluated separately.
Hugs,

Sounds yummy!!!!!
Supper last night was a gluten-free spinach pizza.
I will stick to making my own. Let's leave it at that, yuckkkkkk!!!!!!
Hubby had fish as well.View Thread

We have the warm temps here. Sunny and bright. Good thing as it will help dry out some of the ground from flooding before we get the next rain fall this week.
Spring Fever has hit here as well. Can't wait to get out and poke around in the yard.
I don't seem to have much luck with pansies either. I think last year I put them in too early. They were selling them but we got some really cold spells after I planted them. Think it was too cold even for the pansies.
My step-son gave me one of those little tiny rose plants that they sell around Mother's Day. I was skeptical about planting it outside. My mom had one planted and it didn't do much. I've been pleasantly surprised. It is now about 2 1/2 ft high. I did have to spray it last year for the rose bugs. It bloomed for a really long time.
I also bought a climbing rose. We'll see how that does. This is it's second year. Had flowers last year and I am hoping it will bloom a little better this.
Stay warm!

The reservoir that I sent you pictures of has been in an updating stage for about 6 years now. My family home is on the hill across from the Ressie. Great location!!!!
Found out yesterday that while working on the Spillway, they actually raised it three feet higher than it had been. Can't imagine the devastation if that barrier was left at it's original height. We would have lost about three bridges in town. As it was, a few of the bridges were closed for fear of them being washed away.
Glad "Da Boss" is home!!!View Thread

It's so nice to hear from you!!!!
You are in my thoughts many days. Hope things are at least peaceful for you lately.
We're ok now. Lots of sun, blue skies and mild temps. Have slept with the windows open the past few nights.
Almost planting time for you, right?
Keep looking towards your mountains.
Hugs,

Did it scan after she shook it? LOL!!!!View Thread

I'm sorry I haven't been around much. Wish there were more of us here. I am having trouble adjusting to the changes, as usual!!
Anyway, I wanted to ask if you could keep my daughter in your thoughts. She has lost everything she has in her storage unit. I understand that most things can be replaced and am hoping that she hasn't lost many pictures. Her unit is one of 300, so many others have lost as well.
It's not the possessions but what they represent. She has worked hard for what was in the unit and was hoping to furnish a house that her boyfriend may be purchasing.
With her health issues for the past couple of years and some personal obstacles she's had to overcome, it's been a long road for her.
Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers that she can realize the devastation that others are dealing with and in comparison, she is very fortunate.
I'm hoping that she will soon come to the realization that "things" can be replaced.
TIA,

Keeping you in thoughts and prayers that you won't have to do the last 4 treatments.
I wish there was something I could do to make things better!!
Not sure about the Urban talk. People have enough trouble understanding my so-called "dialect". I'd be in serious trouble if I tried a new speech technique.
On the other hand, maybe it would be more understood, Watcha Thank, lol!!!!View Thread

You are just too much sometimes!!!!
Thank you for my laugh of the day!!!! You are definitely quick witted.
